Kim, this trip report is stellar. No wonder you have 26 pages of replies. I just sat and read up to Chapter 13. Straight. No potty breaks or anything. I even blew off my husband to read it. I'm beside myself that you send anyone to my TR...yours blows mine away.

I have laughed out loud too many times to mention...and I keep saying, "Oh this is the part I'll quote." But here I am, typing my response and unable to pick any. (How does one quote summarize 26 pages of hilarity, really?) Your writing is incredible, lady.

Okay, I'll try. The poached egg thing was very freaking funny. And anything to do with Conor's obsession with cars. (BTW, I drive a 2004 pewter Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dan owns a infernal red Dodge Intrepid and he restored a convertible 68 Olds Cutlass...it's tangerine orange.)

Have to add: your children are beautiful! Okay, your whole family is beautiful.

I so much look forward to the rest of your report. Your attention to detail a year after the trip is remarkable. But your writing...omg, it's brilliant.

Pinnoccio characters are in Italy.

We always see brother bear in Canada.

And our last two trips through Germany have netted us Snow White (the first time with Dopey, last trip with all 7 Dwarves. . .the wife still glows about that), after all, she's a Grimm Brother's character.

I'm waiting to see the 3 Caballeros in Mexico.

Oh, and we loved Cafe Marakesh too, esp the dancer.

Great installment, Kim! The kids are adorable....love the pink floppy hats on the girls. My girls will be 16 & 13 when we go back to Disney this fall and they were Piper and Sydney's ages about 5 minutes ago. We do have the little man who's only 5 so I must remember to bring his goggles and send him diving for beer money as well. Thanks for keeping us entertained!

We have an ADR for Morocco this October. My DH & I ate there during our 2nd anniversary trip and we want to take DD (she'll be 9) to try it. When the belly dancer came out she was approaching some of the men to dance with her. She approached an older man at the table to our left and he said "Oh no honey, I have a bad back!". Then she approached the gentleman at the table to our right who also declined. Did she approach my DH? Nope, she skipped right over him. I think the glassy look in his eyes and the drool scared her off.

Very funny and entertaining trip report! Your Conor sounds so much like my boys.

We drive a 2001 Ford Windstar in blue (named BleuBelle). Kinda boring but she does still have her Alaska plates which makes us popular with liscense plate bingo players everywhere let me tell you!

My boys play this game without a name where you holler out Hummer! MiniCooper! PT Cruiser! Lovebug! Whenever you are the first one to spot such vehicle on the road. You would think this would get old after more than a year...but no.
