The MCLOVINS Hit the World - HARD!!!!! *COMPLETED*

I love when I get a new reply WHILE i'm replying to my replies!

Just wanted to say hi. I've been on kind of a TR reading kick lately while I'm trying to convince my wife we need to plan a trip to WDW. I was just looking down the list of TR's on the board to find a title that was just begging for me to read it. How can you say no to a TR with McLovin in the title??? :rotfl2:

Truly though, enjoy the report and your detailed writing style. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to reading more.

:welcome: !!!!! :dance3:

That was the idea with the title! I needed to bring in fans of Superbad because such silly things happened on this trip it was only appropriate. ;)

Thanks so much for your kind words, I appreciate it!! :wizard:

LOVE the Tree of Life pics. That thing is gorgeous. The details are just spectacular.

I've never been in AK later than like, 4:00 either, but I'll definitely have to try and make an EMH one of these trips.

I LOOOOOOOVE that bench in between the dragon (???) feet. I've always wanted to stop and take a picture there, but it's always super crowded and I'm too impatient to wait.

ALDERGATOR! His tail looks really short...Or maybe that's just because of the angle of the picture. But anyway, alligators are so fascinating. Like, they're creepy and I'm terrified of being eaten alive by one, but at the same time I just wanna reach out and touch him.

I about died when I saw those Toy Story stuffed animals back in July. I was this close to buying the Jessie before I realized that I am a 20 year old woman who does not need a baby Toy Story stuffed animal. But the fact that Jessie's blanket is held together with a BULLSEYE ROCKING HORSE is just too much. Ah, I love me some Toy Story.

I know a lot of people complain about Din-O-Rama, but I love it back there. It's SUPER cheestastic, but I love it for that.

I love that there's an Ohio license plate in your license plate shot. I feel like it's a shout out. Except that's a way old-school plate. We have these brand new ones where they tried to get all artsy and it's like a farm and a city landscape, but they're just super ugly. Every time I see one, I want to quote Dickens. It was the best of license plates, it was the worst of license plates...

OH.MY.GOD. My mind is blown by the menu in the mouth. I've never noticed that before.

Dinosaur scares the shoot out of me. I literally spend the whole ride curled into a ball with my eyes closed, praying we make it back alive. But it's just so darn fun! I could ride it all day. It's terrifying, but it's such a good terrifying.

Love that you got to wear some animal print at the Animal Kingdom. I always find myself wearing earthy tones whenever I go there. Greens, browns, khaki. Gotta get into the safari spirit! LOL.

I'm not even going to try to guess where you headed off to. I'll just wait for the next crazy update. :thumbsup2

OH! I can't believe I forgot to mention this but tonight's Vampire Diaries? EPIC. FREAKING EPIC. OHMIGOSH. I am so in love with this show it's not even funny. Plus, they used Lady Gaga's Teeth in the preview for next week's episode (which looks 10x as epic as tonight's) which made me ridiculously excited because that song is my jam. Like, I literally had tears streaming down my face because the episode was super emotional, but the second that song started I was having a little dance party by myself. Oh, Vampire Diaries...You are quickly becoming one of my favorite shows ever.

That bench is actually between the ruins of a Tiger statue. You probably know this but when they were making Animal Kingdom they wanted the fake Asian village of Anadapur that they made up to have an animal symbol, like how in India cows are sacred to them and everything. So they looked it up and nowhere that they could find worshipped Tigers so that is why that tiger is there. :)

I find alligators fascinating too. I really wanna touch one!

LOL I have so many stuffed animals. When I was like 13-17 I was obsessed with buying a new mini stuffed animal at the Disney Store every time I went to the mall, and my mom was so annoyed by it. She was like, "They just SIT in your room!" But then I was all, "Most kids my age are buying pot, so just leave me alone." and that shut her up LOL. But then we moved and now our local mall that i'm at all the time DOESN'T HAVE A DISNEY STORE. It is HUGE, it has like everything, but no Disney Store. They are haters!!!

I saw an Ohio license plate last night here in Jersey and you are right, it looked different than that. I hate when they try to get all creative with the license plates because they never turn out cool. Ours are just light yellow. I would prefer light pink or lavender but I will put that in motion when I rule the world.

It really is astounding how they manage to make Dinosaur seem so real. How can I still be scared when I am staring at something I KNOW is FAKE, something I know can not and will not EVER hurt me? It's crazy.

I always try to dress themed for AK! I want to get one of those safari hats next time!

I still haven't watched this week's TVD. Ugh, I am so busy!!! But i'm so excited to see it and I LOVE THAT THEY USED TEETH KJDFSDJFLDK I LOOOVE THAT SONG SO MUCH. I have been imagining True Blood promos using that song since it came out, but omg a TVD one with Damon all naked would be EVEN BETTER!!

Okay, my fabulous and loyal readers.

It is now time to interrupt this Trip Report for a message from your fabulous and loyal writer and slave to Disney World, moi.

I might as well just say it, even though it STINGS: We're not going to Disney World next month.

I KNOW. I KNOW. I WILL GIVE YOU A SECOND TO REGAIN CONSCIOUSNESS. LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU ARE BACK.

I know this is terrible!! But it's also NOT. Calm down. It's fine. Really.

I've actually been a bit impressed with myself for the way I've been handling this. LOL.

I'm not going to get into all the reasons why, but it's just not a good time to go right now. And that's okay. It kills me because it seemed like everything was aligning so that we could go - I mean, even the prices are so incredibly low (for Disney) right now and that obviously helps. Even the airfare was like $200 less than we're used to! If only the timing was better.

Oh wait. There is better timing.

Cause in six months, I WILL BE 21, MOTHERTRUCKERS! Do you know what that means??

It means this: most people wake up the morning after their 21st birthdays in a pool of their own vomit. I will wake up in a bowl of Cheddar Cheese Soup.

This is just the kind of person I am, ok?

I have always dreamed of going to Disney for a two week period. I want that extra time to relax and chill a bit instead of going to a park every single day and squeeze everything in. I want to go to the Water Parks. I want to parasail. I want to take some of the backstage tours. I WANT TO LAY BY THE POOL. FOR ONCE. I wanted to do that two week Disney adventure next month. I saved all my money up, but when it came to combining my mom and I's work schedules, we'd only be able to get to Disney for like 5 days next month.

It would make so much more sense to wait until April, save even more money up, and plan the ultimate vacation of our dreams. You only turn 21 once. You are only young once. One day I'll be dead and I'll regret not doing things like this.

Let's just pray we don't run into anything that's going to stop this dream coming true! I have already started planning (duh, of course) and already have a Le Cellier reservation (DUH OF COURSE) and I am counting down the days until I wake up and I realize: I'M 21 AND AT DISNEY WORLD. LET THE PARTY BEGIN!!!

OMG. A 2 week vacation in Disney for your 21st birthday? It doesn't get any better than that! Yay! :woohoo: I hope it all works out for you :goodvibes One day, I hope to stay in WDW that long too. The longest we've stayed I think was 6 days.

Do it! Im turning 30 next November and Im contemplating a quick trip - even though we normally go the first week in December. If I plan my vacation time right I might be able to swing both!

Thanks so much!! I am praying it all works out. =)

The longest we've been is 10 days and I was like JUST starting to settle in LOL so maybe adding 4 more days onto that will finally feel more relaxed for me.

Go for it!! That sounds awesome. =)

Hey, I would much rather be in WDW than waking up in vomit. LOL. That sounds like a great idea for your 21st (the Disney part, not the vomit). I was thisclose to going for my birthday next year...but instead I'm going 2 weeks late. Oh well, better late than never, right?

Ugh, I want to wake up in a bowl of cheddar cheese soup. lol Hope you have a great birthday trip!

Oh, and I started my TR, finally. Expect an update every Sunday. Sooner if I find time/energy. Link in my siggy

Exactly! The trip this trip report is about was for my birthday on April 8, but we didn't leave until the 11th cause that was the day all the Disney prices dropped from "Easter" prices to "Regular" prices! =)

It would be great to spend your 21st at WDW!!

I know, I so hope it all works out!

2 weeks and only 1 Le Cellier reservation???

HAHAHA we are on the same page my friend! I was thinking the same thing. I may have to book us another one before it's too late!

TWO WEEKS??????????? That is so friggin awesome! I can't think of a better way to celebrate your 21st birthday. And Epcot is RIGHT THERE too!!!!!

I know!!! I have eaten around the World Showcase many times, and now I can't wait to drink around the world! I'm kind of a lightweight when it comes to alcohol, so I hope I don't get drunk after like, one country. LOL.

Oh.....you probably will.....The servings are pretty hefty.

Oh great! Well there will for sure be some ridiculous stories in my next TR then LOL! As if the ones in this TR aren't absurd enough. Oh man.

OH MY GOD. I AM SO FREAKING JEALOUS RIGHT NOW. A TWO WEEK 21ST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION AT DISNEY? I AM GREEN WITH ENVY. LITERALLY. I LOOK LIKE AN ALIEN.

In my head, I've been planning out my 21st birthday celebration at Disney for years. I wear a tiara everywhere. I have a delicious birthday dinner at 'Ohana. My first purchased drink is a Lapu Lapu. We watch the fireworks from the beach, and all is right in the world. Unfortunately, all of those dreams were smashed to smithereens this month when I decided that I need to take classes this summer so that I can graduate before we switch to semesters in the fall of 2012. So yeah, no birthday celebration for me. :sad1:

Actually, I don't even know if I'm going to be able to go to Disney at all this year which is making me really depressed. I have a couple weeks at the beginning of June and the beginning of September, but they aren't great travel times for the rest of my family. *SIGH* I need to find friends who are obsessed with Disney as I am and whose available travel dates overlap with mine because I do not like this whole "I don't know when I'm going back!" thing. LOL.
