When we got to 50s PTC, the place was mad busy.

I loved the atmosphere there. It is such a fun place. The way they call you to your table is funny. This one old man who was seating people was screaming family's names telling them, mom's ready for you now. It was cute.

We waited maybe 15 minutes, and we were seated.

IDK if this is suposed to be a hidden mickey. Prolly not but it looked like one to me!

This was where we were seated. We were in between two families. So much fun, some of the kids were getting yelled at for not finishing their food by our waitress, one of the kids made a mess on the floor so they made him clean it up, it was just a riot in there. One woman said a curse word and our waitress told her to watch her mouth and there are kids around. LOL!! The family on our left was very nice we chatted with them, and so was the family on our right. The mom was a little annoyed though. She told me she was there for like 3 hours. Dang that is long.

Tim ordered the meatloaf. He loved it. I tried a piece and it was very good.

I ordered the Pot Roast. Very good!!! Of course I got yelled at for not finishing it lol.

For dessert I had the apple cobbler. Very good!! It was huge!

We had fun there, but We like the Sci Fi better so we will definitely be doing lunch there again. I don't think we need to eat there again. We will when we go with our family in 2011. The kids will love it.

I think 50s is a fun place to try, but if you want peace and quiet during your meal that is not the place to go lol.

DHS was having EMH that night. Our ADR was at 7, we got out around 8:30. Park wasn't that crowded at all.

We tried to get some cool pictures of that hat.

This one is Tim's favorite I think

We just took some pictures of the Studios really, and walked around.

Would be nice if I could take straigt pictures lol.

Of course I had to ride TOT one last time for the day.

Now when I went on this time, some kid freaked out lol. I felt bad but it was funny, his parents were even laughing at him. He had to be like twelve. When it was all over before they let you out he was screaming " I want to go home" like ten times, and "Let me off" while trying to rip the seatbelt off himself. Poor kid, he was definitely traumatized lol.

We started to head back to the resort. Wanted to go swimming and hang out at the resort for a little bit and take some pics.

Tim had to take pictures of this car.

Lynn, your trip last October were the same dates that me and DW were in WDW. We also were there 4/23 – 5/2 this year and I'm soooooo jealous you got to bump into “Officer Thor Peabody”!! We looked for him all week -- he was nowhere to be found. I asked around and was told he was on “official” police business.

Officer Peabody is played by none other than Timothy Goodwin. He was one of the original cast members who opened the Adventures Club in 1989, and is credited for creating the club salutation, “Kungaloosh!”

I agree about 50s PT. You have to be in the right frame of mind to enjoy it. If you're one who likes interaction & fun at a meal, it's a great place.

ok so the animation academy is what you were talking about! okkk!!THATS the gem! lol!!! i feel dumb.. i've never been there! Where is that at DHS??.... I can't EVER find it! I've been to Disney over 300 times and never did it! eeek!

Ok it is on the streets of America past Mama Melrose. When you jump on the grate, water comes down so it looks like it is raining. It's really cute.

Okay American Idol Experience looks fun! So what happens, you watch the first round at a certain time, then get the results at another certain time when you have to come back? I have no idea!

Ahhhhhh ToT! Always a good time on that ride. I always laugh.

Oh I love the Street Performers! They are so funny and get so into character.

Hey girl! There are shows every hr, I want to say there are about 7-8 shows a day, then the finale show where they bring back the winners from the earlier shows that day. Each show has 3 contestants.

The person who wins the finale show, gets the golden ticket which gets them to the front of the line for the real American Idol show auditions.

When you go, go to Animation studios and around 5ish...that is when a bunch of the characters come out.

Oh cool! You guys will enjoy it!! Go right when it opens for lunch, it's so quiet and peaceful then. I find that when you go to the restaurants early, they are so much nicer.

Love all the character shots...so jealous that you got to meet the queen of hearts! I'd love to come across her sometime! You guys have wonderful luck with characters! The mat is awesome! Your night time shots of the hat are great too! We didn't get to take many pics of the hat on our trip in jan because they were doing renovations or whatever to it. Perhaps repainting? I have no idea, but there were big walls up around it. We've never ate at 50's prime time, but I don't think I'd like it very much. When I go in a restaurant to eat I want to eat and chill and talk to dh about our day in the park not be fussed at by a waitress to get my elbows off the table. We'll eventually try it though I'm sure! Can't wait to hear more!
