Hi Lynn! I'm new to posting on your TR but not new to reading. I just wanted to tell you that I'm enjoying your report - especially seeing Disney through the eyes of a young couple w/o kids. And I must say I'm a bit jealous . Anyhoo, thanks for the review of Sci Fi. I've been kicking myself for not doing it last year but will def try for an ADR this time around. My boys would love it!

OK since I am newly obsessed with your TR, I am reading you Oct one... and Tim mentioned something about a Wegmans... where do you live? I used to live in Buffalo NY so I know it is fairly regional. And I was excited to see that you have a Wegmans! haha

Oh and you must go see the Little Mermaid. It is excellent. One of my favs in HS. I have never done TSM so I have to check that out in January. I showed Bobby pics of Sci-Fi and now he is dying to eat there.

I was flabbergasted (sp?!) when I saw that you hadn't been on Voyage of the Little Mermaid, though!!! I mean, it's not AMAZING but ya'll def have to see it!! ohmigoodness!!!! lol! it's really good, it used to be better... and longer but they cut it down as the years passed.

I love Minnie too!! I idolized her as a kid, it's embarassing LOL but she's just so cute! i'm glad that someone is starting to like her too!!

And one last thing - what was the "gem" thing you were all talking about?? I'm totally lost and have never done it before? and wasn't even sure? lol do you even know what I'm talking about? hahahaha!

Great update i love The Great Movie Ride it always takes me back to my first trip when I was little lol. I still jump in the alien bit lol.

I love the Great Movie Ride. That's usually the first ride we go on when we get to DHS but it will have to be TSM this time!

Used to be for us too lol!

Although I am not at all opposed to 'the hat', I do wish they could have found a place for it that didn't block being able to see this building as you walk down the street toward it. When I look at older pictures and you can see the Chinese Theater as you go in, that's much more in keeping with the theme and decor of the original idea of the park. I like the hat okay, but I just wish it had it's own place that didn't block the view of this.

I am enjoying all of your good pictures as we continue to count down to our July trip. Thanks for sharing!

I have never been to DHS without the hat in the middle so I wouldn't know lol! I bet it wa awesome to have The Great Movie ride be the first thing you saw when you entered the park.

Hi!! Thanks for reading and welcome. Yeah we try to go as much as we can before we have a baby. BUT I can not wait to bring our own kids one day!! I'll be that crazy person walking around with a 1 year old lol!
