Well I thought I would at least start the lame part of the TR and get that over with. My photopass photo CD did not arrive today, Boo. Should get it tomorrow. Another reason why I wish I just bought the CD in Disney lol. I woud have been able to start the TR a couple days ago.
Anyway on with the TR. Let me start by saying how awesome AKV is. The resort is amazing. You don't know how awesome it is until you really experience it. Waking up every morning and seeing all the animals outside your window is so neat. We had a great view and a bunch of different animals were outside our window. Mara, the food court, is awesome. so is the pool and the hot tub.
We did go and check out Kidani on our last day. Kidani is beautiful but I don't like how they don't have a food court. I just think that is a little inconvienent for people staying there. You know when you want a late night snack sometimes, well it would be a pain to head over to the jambo house. It's not really a quick walk. It is a very nice resort though.
We did make some ADR changes. Never went to Chef Mickeys breakfast, Yachtsman, Kona, or Jiko. We were just having too much fun in the parks that we decided to eat in park restaurants. We did try The Wave and OMG LOVED it!! You must try it.
The Magic is still around. You see threads every now and then about people saying the magic is gone. Nope sorry but it's still there.lol. I think you have to have the magic inside of you, and you have to spread some magic around yourself. We met some awesome CMs who gave us a bunch of pixie dust.
Our pin trading was awesome. I was able to finish my Vynilmation set WOO HOO and some other sets.
What was really cool was that I got to meet a bunch of Disers. I met over ten. Every day somebody said "Hey you're Lynn from the DIS." It was so funny lol. If you are reading it was a pleasure to meet all of you. You were all so very nice.
The tours we did were so much fun. Tim loved the Segway, I recommend it. Keys to the Kingdom was cool. You get to learn facts about Walt. He truly was an amazing man.
Oh and girls, the new store TREND in DTD is amazing. Such a cool, cute, and funky store. It reminds me of a Disney boutique. I loved it.
oh and the crowds. They were fine. MK seemed to be the most crowded. Sunday the 3rd when we got there was a little crazy. There was a lot of people in the park. But the times for the rides were not that long.
Our next trip will be in Jan! I'm going to be doing the Half Marathon and meeting up with a bunch of my Disney Bride friends. Can't wait. We are hoping to be able to get into BLT. I can book it next month. If not we will stay at SSR. Our dates will be the 4-11, I think.
Depending on my school schedule next spring, if we can we want to go for Star Wars weekend. Tim has always wanted to do it. I think it will be fun.
OK!!! Let's start.
Sunday morning I woke up at 3:30 AM, was going to get up at 4 AM but I could not sleep anymore lol. I got ready and finished packing the last minute things.
When I went to go see if my dad was awake and ready to drop us off at the airport he already was lol. He never went to bed lol, he was up on facebook all night haha. He just joined and is addicted to it.
WOO HOO time to go. Tim was already annoyed with me taking pictures, great haha.
We got in the car and headed to the airport. It was so crappy that morning. Rain rain rain...the whole time we were gone it rained in NJ LOL! Thank God we were on our way to sunny FL!!
Got to the airport at like 5:45, checked out bags and went through security. Did the big pin bag make it? Yeah it did haha. They had to look through it though. The woman who looked through it was laughing at us haha. Everything was fine though and we were able to bring it on the plane.
Boarding process went smooth. We were group A so we were able to get a good seat.
YAY!
Look how crappy and cloudy and yucky the weather was.
The flight attendants were awesome on the flight. I love Southwest so much. They asked who was all going to Disney, of course the whole plane errupted in applause lol.
The snacks they gave out were so cute. Little airplane cookies.
I read my People Magazine then watched Bolt on my iPod while Tim slept. I watched the last half of the movie. When it was over we started to land. YAY. Perfect timing.

When we landed one of the flight attendants sang to us haha. She was so cute. We had such a nice flight. As soon as we got off the plane you could feel the FL Weather
We made our way over to Magical Express check in. There was like 5 people in line, so nice. We never really have to wait long.
The little floral displays are samples of things you can get from Disney Floral. I thought they were really cute. Magical Express check in was great. We waited like ten minutes for our bus.

In about 20 mins we were here!
We stopped off at Coronado Springs first. It looks like a really nice moderate resort... then we were there at AKL!!
