I can't wait until I buy DVC we are trying SSR next year our first time on sight they have a 42% off plus free dining on with disney UK for next year so just had to book that. We want to buy at AKV when we do buy so will be good to see your pictures I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it, we love the idea of waking up to the animals my bf was born in South Africa and really likes the look of AKV especially as Animal Kingdom is our joint fave park along with Magic Kingdom of course.

YAY!!! I keep checking to see if you've started you TR and I was so glad today to see that you had.
Glad to hear that the pins made it through security. I wondered about that. I'm not sure what we'll do with ours yet. It would be my luck they wouldn't let us take them in our carry-on.....then what? I'll probably just check them.

YAY!!! Oh you will be fine when you go through security with the pins. They just check the bag, no biggy. Wendy our bag was huge, we had over like 30 pins lol, you will be fine. Check first just to be sure so you will feel better.

Ha, it's about time you started your TR!! Some of us were forced to do other things while we waited...like work.

So, I find it hilarious your dad stayed up all night playing on Facebook.

You really enjoyed The Wave? Can I ask what you got? We tried the wave, and I really really didn't enjoy it.

Looking forward to more pictures! Especially of AKV; Crown_Princess and I are thinking about going the DVC route next time, and I've been bouncing between Bay Lake Tower and the AKV. We like the idea of being on the monorail, but what did you think of the bus commute? Did you have to wait awhile?

I did like Cali Grille just think that The Wave is a tiny bit better.

Our waitress was amzing, they brought us complimentary champagne, and my steak was out of this world. It melted in my mouth, my tomato soup was amazing and it came with a little grilled cheese sandwich, so cute.

Tim had lamb I think and his crab cake was good. Our desserts were awesome too. Just an amazing meal. We loved it. Oh and so were the drinks. I had a virgin strawberry daquiri and Tim had a strawberry milkshake.

It was nice in there, people were super friendly. I guess we just always get lucky because everywhere we eat is good and we always have amazing service.

The AKV were very nice and the busses were fine. We never waited long for a bus. I have to say though we are over disney transportation. It's time to start renting a car. We are going to try one out and see how we like it in Jan! I have a feeling we will.

I'm interested to hear your experience at the Wave too. My husband and I went there in December, and found it to be ok, but felt that it could be much more. It showed promise, but seemed to be lacking something. Perhaps we just ordered the wrong things. I do remember the dessert flights being wonderful though.

IDK we loved it. It was our first time there. I'm going to do a dining review and talk about it on my TR.

I have been torn about buying BLT or AKV we will decide when we take the tour. Yeah I am enjoying the look of SSR and it will be so handy having DTD within walking distance we had originally booked POR but when the offer came out for 42% of SSR or OKW we instantly switched to SSR.

I also love the idea of your dad staying up on facebook all night. I have been trying to get my mum and dad on it to most of their friends are so I keep badgering them to do it.

I am glad to hear you loved AKV! We are staying at Kidani in January and I am worried about not having a counter service area since I have no intention on bringing food.

How is the walk between Kidani and Jambo? I was thinking of just getting off the bus at Jambo, grabbing something from Mara and walking back to Kidani.

We're also staying there in September so I guess I can check it out for myself but I am just curious...

Is it a nice walk? Covered if it's raining? Is it far?

I know the woman at Philadelphia Airport was smirking at us lol. It was funny. On the way back in Orlando airport the girl said, "let me guess, Pins!" haha. She said what we have is nothing compared to others lol.

yeah we did some trading with people at Epcot and DTD. Tim mostly. I love trading with CMs. I started the alphabet set. I need 10 more. I traded for them with CMs only. I think it's fun hunting for the pins.

I was just crazy busy when I got home. Now I'm back to the swing of things. I was also a little depressed, who isn't when you leave Disney HAHA.

I think when you see BLT in person you will fall in love. They are gorgeous in person. AKV is too. SSR is my favorite so far though. The walk to DTD is great. You really can't go wrong with any of the resorts though.

Hopefully they will join, it took my dad a while to lol.

OK I did not do the walk. I would say it's a 10-20 min walk depening on how fast you walk. The bus ride over is a minute or so. I think if you grab something from Mara and walk back your food will get cold. To me it's a shame because it just seems like so much of a hassle, unless you are going to sit and eat at Mara.

I think it would be a nice walk. It's out in the open though so it stinks if it's going to rain.

SO my motherboard went bad on my lap top. Apparently my HP model was recalled but I never got the recall lol. They are putting all myt pictures and iTunes on an external hard drive for me. That's all I really cared about was my pictures and stuff like that.

SO it's time to go out and look for a new computer. Going to go to the Mac store and check out a Mac.

Sorry to hear about your HP but glad they are able to save your pictures and music onto an external hard drive for you. I would feel the same about losing all my pictures I nearly lost all mine the other week along with all my coursework when my stupid dell decided to go back to factory settings. Thankfully I managed to fix it.

I love going looking at the MAC's at our Apple stores.

Dh and I are both HUGE mac fans!!! We each have a macbook (mine is white, his is black) and we have a imac in our bedroom, which doubles as a tv for us to watch movies on and such. Dh also rigged it so we can get our cable on there and be able to watch shows laying in bed if we want! Macs rock! Good luck with your search for a new computer! Aww...you started the alphabet...we have the whole collection...your so close to having all of them...we were down to two we needed and dh wasn't leaving disney without those two so he ended up trading with somebody at dtd. Have you looked on ebay? You might be able to find some there. It is tons of fun to trade with the cm's thats how I completed most of my sets when I was there! That and the book at guest services at mk.

Oh, boo! That stinks your laptop pooped out on you. At least they can transfer your stuff over, though. I'm a PC person, but MACs aren't bad. In fact, once I got used to them I actually started liking it. The only thing I missed was being able to right click on things. I just HAVE to have my right click.
