Finally got my bands today! They are so cool!

Finalizing our trip tomorrow to CBR (thru AAA), We are arriving on 3/2 and staying thru 3/8. I found out I had a pin for free dining so we decided to go, now I have some worries?

What are magic bands and will I get them in time for our trip?
Will I have trouble making ADR's with such short notice?
No paper fast passes??? What?????

We have only done QSDP b4 and with upgrading to the regular dining plan and all the other changes(fast pass, ADR's) since the last time we went in May of 2012, I'm feeling overwhelmed.

Any help or advice will be appreciated.

Magic bands are bracelets that you can link your park passes, FP, and even use to enter your room. But you do need to set up an MdE ( my Disney experience ) account online to access it. I would imagine AAa would explain to you but if not just go online and Disney has- tutorial. Don't worry if you don't order the bands in time . You can(35 me at check in, but if you order ahead you can pick out your color and personalize them. Not sure about the dining. I would go online and try to reserve whatever you can get or call. I made my reservations 6 months ahead but I enjoy planning. FP reservations canbe made now-/long as you link a ticket to your account or you can make me when you arrive. Hope I helped!

Finally booked my flights, so it's official! I'll be down there from March 18th-23rd, staying at my friend's apartment!

It'll be my first time back home at WDW since finishing my College Program at the beginning of January. I spent 7 incredible months working at the Most Magical Place on Earth and I miss it every day. I've only been gone a little more than a month but it feels like ages! It'll be my first time at Flower & Garden Festival and I can't wait!

During my time working at WDW I called both Epcot and Animal Kingdom Lodge home and I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have whether they're about the parks, resorts, dining or those fun magic bands. (I worked very closely with them from their debut at AKL in June until last month.)

Our Magic Bands arrived Monday and I had to tuck them away in the suitcase bcause it was too tempting to wear mine around the house! 24 days and I'm still playing with ADRs - thinking about breakfast at 1900 Park Fare on our DHS morning since we're staying all day for Fantasmic (with an infant and three adults who don't ride thrill rides, I still think we can make it through most of the things on my to-do list if we get to the park by 10am). Every time I ask the others on my trip what they think or want to do I get a "Whatever you want." Every time. So its a little difficult to make decisions...

We'll be at CBR Mar 2-8; haven't gotten Bands or email about them yet, but I checked MDE, and they've moved into the Active status.

Maybe we'll see y'all around CBR, Chris. My ds would love a friend at the pool.

I bought my flights down today and a one night stay at POFQ. the rest of the trip is offsite at my parents timeshare, but I had to do a nights stay on property too! So excited to try POFQ. It's been on my list to stay for several years now.

Oh how exciting for you. This trip, we are there March 9 through 16, I am staying offsite for the 1st time in several years. I'm envious and happy for the guests who are getting magic bands and able to choose fp+ in advance.
