I hope you have a great time at your first CM Christmas party, there's a rumor floating around that this may be the last one. WDW CM's don't have one anymore, they get a pass for them to join thier family on any day in the park. Way lame.

be sure to tell me when you post the pics!! i really want to see them!!

oh no! that'd be so sad! that rumor makes sense though cuz they have the two CM parties 13 & 14th then "mix in" party tickets which is just like the pass you described, which is a first time thing they have ever done, maybe they are making the transition

From what I heard, ots "One Disney"'s doing, the company that stream lines the parks so they are as close to the same as possible. There is a bunch of stuff that the WDW CM's get that DL CM's don't but One Disney isn't doing anything about that. The CM christmas party dates back to Walt Disney himself, by removing it they are taking away from Walt's ideas IMO. Hopfully they powers that be will wise up and leave it and focus their attention on something that needs it.

kind of off topic, but i'm a hug harry potter fan and i just found a picture of tom felton aka draco malfoy holding a DUFFY. hahahaha so lame for getting excited about this! i'm evilly laughing inside though muahahahahaha

UPDATE:

so for the one day me (my sister and i) will be staying there we will be staying at the Paradise Pier Hotel!!! it will be on the concierge level, which is only costing $175 a night with my cast member discount! this is my first time ever staying at a on-site disney hotel, cuz i just live 45 minutes away but i'm SUPER DUPER EXCITED!!!

Must gets during the trip:

• Mickey Snowmen popcorn bucket
• Tiana pins (2 of mine broke!)
• Tiana cookbook
• 9" giant vinylmation (maybe)

i honestly don't know what else to get! i guess that's a good thing! i might get another duffy outfit just cuz it will be 50% off!

but some time this week probably saturday i want to get another dooney and bourke bag,
this one:

i think this is the perfect size for a disney trip, and wont let me over pack which i do frequently! hopefully i'll get it!

also disney wont be coming out with a christmas outfit for duffy...so i will have to go over to build a bear sometime this week and pick him out something, he wants to get into the spirit as well!!! i wont be showing you guys the outfit til the trip report comes out

Make sure you take advantage of the CL services while there. Also when you get your D&B purse make sure you find one where the print is nice and centered. Do you think white will get dirty?

oh you know i will! *evil laugh* i hear at one point in the evening they have chocolate covered strawberries in the lounge, i will be right there!

hmmm i hope not, i got my DB white sketch tote almost two weeks ago, its fine so far(hopefully it will stay like that!) the white on the DB 55th bag is almost tan-ish so hopefully if it does get dirt it look natural haha, oh yes placement is a MUST for me, i HAVE to have the mickey ears on the front and the "here you leave today...." sign!

yes duffy is very conflicted on what outfit to get, so many options!

Ah. I am in live with the D&B bags. I absolutely adore mine and I wish I had the money to get another one. It will be so hard not to give in and spend all of my Christmas shopping money on a new one today (or Tuesday or Wednesday while I'm here).

I wanted the same bag as that but in the bigger size - but my DH wasnt going to pay that much for it for my birthday so i ended up with the black barrel bag with the different colour mickeys on it and a lovely mickey and minnie watch...

my D&B will be only used for very special occasions - i had to promise

Sorry, no idea on what treats to get though. But I though you would be proud to know I have myself a new special buddy! My BF surprised me with a Duffy to call my own when we left the Parks last night! He's so, so, so, so, so, so, so cute!!
