That Sakic guy looks just like me. I played hockey for 14 years (5-19). I played for Army Euro team also until I broke my ankle falling from a helicopter in 1986.

Are there as many restaurant choices at DL? I seem to remeber there not being that many when we were there. We did eat at the Blue Bayou (is what I think it was called). THe place where you lookout on the boats rom the POTC

Ok so I decided to skip most of the witty banter and just read the reports. I don’t have that much spare time…Thanks for the hot links Buzz …I can see though that the report has a long way to go so I’ll just stick around for future reports and enjoy the banter to come.

A few comments…

As has been noted by many already…Lin you are a saint of a woman to put up with such a man…I know I've got a similar DH

Buzz..you and my husband would be fast friends… one of his favorite pastimes is public bathroom fun…He’s not happy unless he is well on his way to complete inebriation..only he’s not so choosy..doesn’t need to be Crown or good wine…just any ‘ol rot gut will do for him…

3 minutes later, a family of giraffe-people came and sat RIGHT in front of us.

This had me rolling! We are a height challenged family and no matter where we go, movies, concerts, parades…the giraffe-people always manage to work their way in front of us…

I have not had this much of a good time in ages. (I lead a sad life) Thanks for all the laughs. This has been a great way to immerse myself back into the dis!

Oh, and it's gotta be the penquins DH is from Pittsbugh, I think it's illegal for him to like another team..I'm only a fan by marriage...I'm really a JMC Stars fan, that is my son's hockey team

We won't be eating there... No Booze.

There are tons of places. I've got my DLR UoG in front of me now. We're staying at the Grand California and there are 3 or 4 restaurants just in the hotel! There are character meals also.

There are 25 restaurants with ADR's available. I don't even know how many Counter Service places there are.

Napa Rose looks like the place for us. It's like Cal Grill.

If you like burgers you need to go to In and Out, there is one near the character outlet about 15 minutes away. When I go to DL I want a car just so I get can get me some of those burgers and fries!

I like the burgers but can't eat the bun or fries due to the "Meat Diet".
