Happy Birthday Buzz - - don't feel bad - - just had mine - the big "65" and it doesn't feel any difference than 40 or 41 - - - they had a surprise party with about 50 guests - and to show them all - there was no difference than 40 - I even danced on the table!! - - - - - so age is just in your mind - - - that is to say - how you act - - I have always hated the saying "act your age" OMG that would be so boring!!!

Oh boy. Buzz is really laying it on thick today. I was in my closet and he's yelling at me, "I need help!! I need help!!" Thinking back to the other night of "I'm falling down, I'm falling down." I rush out of the closet half dressed and here he is:

Laying on the bed all cozy and covered up with his hand 1 inch away from the remote.

"I can't reach the remote."

He couldn't close the curtain or get himself candy. Pretty sad to be in that state at only 41 years old.

Where did this cute smiley come from???

Linnie, I really feel bad for you on days like this SInce his birthday is over and today is NYE I think you should go lay down ask him to serve you wine in bed and call him if the remote falls out of bed

Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone. Sorry I haven't posted but I'm enjoying my 96 hour birthday celebration ritual.

LtP hates it.

I got me a glass of red going and just spent all day watching a 5 DVD documentary of WW1 that LtP got me for a present.

It just don't get any better than this!

I'll be back on full time by tomorrow.

BTW: I'm not getting emails to my subbed reports. Anyone else running into this issue????

When you ride with MB, you have to let HIM control the car.

AHA....your complaint about this has nothing to do with scoring does it? It's all about losing control eh?

Lucky for me, the girl has historically chosen me as her riding partner. Not just on Buzz, but on basically everything.

The only exceptions to this rule have usually come right after I’ve scolded her. To “teach me a lesson”, she’ll then ride with mom once or twice before returning to her “daddy”.

One of the issues I have with this attraction is the laser sighting technology. I simply cannot distinguish my laser “dot” from anyone else’s and therefore am not sure if I’m actually hitting what I’m aiming at.

We totally missed this attraction - TWICE

Here’s the plan for next year. :smoking: I will bring two laser presentation pointers with me that shoot a bright blue laser dot. I will duct tape them to either side of my blaster gun. When Aiming, I will have the two large blue dots on either side of my regular laser and will therefore be able to shoot with pinpoint accuracy. This plan is foolproof.

Sounds like a good plan to me and I know you're crazy enough to try it

LtP – 3,400 Space Cadet (makes sense)

MB – 0 My special little guy

My victory & subsequent gloating is met with damp enthusiasm from my crew. They just don’t appreciate my sharp-shooting prowess.

As usual, the picture shows me hunched over my cannon, aiming furiously and looking very intent. Sitting next to me, LG’s head is beside her canon, not being tall enough to view over the top and thus handicapping her ability to score points (but not enough to lose to mom .

I'm guessing Lin was to busy watching the kids have fun and not paying attention to the game

He’s got one hand on the controls to the car and the other straight up in the air as his canon lies useless & limp to one side. His face is jubilant as he enjoys either the loud noises, moving robots, or flashes from the photography. Who cares? He’s happy!

I got such a high score, I forgot what it was now, but way higher than any of Buzz's previous ones. I really kicked it on that one. More to come later, though. It happens on about day 5 so we should be there by May or June.

The truth is, I love to ride with Trey on Buzz Lightyear because he knows who ToyStory is and he loves to spin the car. I just let him b/c that's his thing. I'd love to beat Buzz more, but I gotta let my little guy have his fun too. I can totally kick Buzz's butt at Guitar Hero and that's enough for me. Right now anyway.
