It's both-you choose from a menu and get to visit the buffet too. It's mostly finger foods at the buffet.

No, I don't think Buzz would do that at the birthday party. He's much more focused on moving it along. We have the shortest parties ever. He's like the director, "Ok, everyone eat. Now everyone eat cake and sing Happy Birthday. Now open the gifts. Now get out!! And grab a goodie bag on you're way out!"

Party is done in record time.

I think the "true" story is just as good as the "glam'd up" story. Especially the part about wanting your pic with Jasmine then "dropping" something on the floor! Stick with characters like Pooh, I guess ... Or, you have Jasmine come over to you while you are sitting down ...

Well to keep this in compliance with the DIS rules I will post what happened at the Princess Breakfast: My version, otherwise known as the Truth.

Hooboy. Here we go.

We arrived at the Akershush. It is irritating how you have to wait for your name to be called b/c for one, you have to be right there with all the other hundreds of little girls and their families, all waiting anxiously.

And most are dressed up like Princesses themselves.

"You're eating that like a pig!" Only she said it in admiration. Eating like a pig is a good thing to her, I guess.

LG learned how to complement from me.

Buzz is wolfing beers like a pig.

Our food finally arrives and we, of course, have to take the eating pictures.

That's true. Why do we do that? :

He grunts something at me and off we go.

Can't talk... eating.

We come back and Buzz is visibly surprised to see us. "Hey! You're back!" Where else would we be? Yeah, too much beer at lunch is never good.

Not surprised... disappointed.

So here comes Aurora and Loud Girl is in hog heaven. So I'm thinking, I want my picture with Jasmine. I think she's my favorite princess, if I had to pick one. It certainly isn't Jane!

Jane's not a princess!! Either is that Mulan creature.

And here comes Jasmine. Now I'm strictly impartial here, but Jasmine is a hottie so I'm a little intimidated. She gets her picture with LG and I stand up and start to walk toward her.

I immediately see how tiny and petite she is and I start to act like I dropped something on the floor. No way am I taking a picture with this woman! I'd look like Amazon Woman, Queen of the Giant People.

one time he did compliment me. We were out to eat and he said, "You know, Linnie, even though you're big, you look really nice when you dress up." Yeah, I picked a sweetie.

You mean to tell me you've never seen Aladdin? And yes, she is a real princess since her dad is the Sultan. I agree that Mulan doesn't qualify, but she's still my DD3's favorite. As for the others, Ariel qualifies (although this particular one wasn't quite as good-looking as most), but Jane is a stretch. At least most of the others at least married true princes...

Oh well, what matters is that LG had a great time!
