~The Man Report 2006~~~~~End & Summary~~~~~Lots of Pictures

Well here is my version of today’s events. First off, I’m still suffering from a huge sinus infection. My head was pounding as Moan Boy came in at 6:20 to wake us up. He climbs in bed with us, then a few hours later, we all get up and I stumble out to the kitchen, sick and dizzy, with Commando Buzz barking at me the whole way about how I needed to get moving and we needed to get to the park by 9. I was going to get Moan Boy’s meds and as I got to the kitchen, Buzz starts pleading for coffee so I stop what I’m doing and make the coffee, of which he had only one cup. I didn’t get any. That’s when I forgot to give Moan Boy his meds. I can usually do more than one thing at a time, but when I’m out of my element, I get flustered really easy.

I was trying to get organized the night before, but Buzz was more interested in posting on the DIS so that went by the way side. Hence, the forgotten waters and snacks. Now, I’m not blaming him, I am merely explaining. I’m trying to get ready and everybody needs something from me. I don’t know why everything hinges on me-I can’t find my toys, I can’t find my socks, I need help in the bathroom etc. It was good though, now we decided to delegate tasks and instead of me being in charge of everything as usual, Buzz is going to take on some stuff too.

So by the time, I’m starting to get ready, 30 mins have gone by. It takes me about 15 mins normally so its no big deal, but I have a monster zit on my chin that has been there for 2 weeks and I cant find my cover up. It’s gone. So I’m looking for that and trying to get myself ready and the kids ready, the back pack ready, etc. I am heading out the door as Buzz is still carrying on about how we need to MOVE MOVE MOVE. He notices I’m wearing my hair down-uh, no I just haven’t got my scrunchie in yet. So I run out the door tying in my pony tail, grabbing my pack of stuff and flying down the stairs, head still pounding and throat now seriously hurting. Haven’t had a chance to blow my incredibly full nose, get a drink or anything to eat and it’s not helping my mood at all….

Well you know how MGM went. First off, was Tower of Terror. I hate that ride. It scares the crap out of me and that’s exactly how the picture looked. The kids looked at me like I was nuts. I don’t know why, but that ride terrifies me.

We tried to see the Little Mermaid twice and missed it both times. That sucked. I promised Loud Girl we’d buy princess toys. Because we had to leave to get Moan Boy’s meds, we didn’t get to see it until the afternoon and she didn’t get her princess toys until then too. So she was crying in the parking lot as we were frantically searching for the car, which wasn’t helping DH’s mood at all. Now, I have to say that as we walked into MGM, I noticed where we parked, but as we came out, DH insisted it was in a different area. I knew he was wrong, but he was pretty well ticked off that I’d forgotten the meds so I didn’t say anything until he really started to go in the wrong direction completely and then I said, “I think it’s over here.” And it was. Lin to the rescue.

The rest of the day was as he described. It’s now after 10 and my head is still pounding after 6 aspirins, I have 15 bug bites on my ankles and I have a huge crack on my thumb that is killing me, especially when I have to put the kids’ shoes on or dress the little princess dolls. My chin zit is like another person tagging along with us, it’s so big and I’m breaking out from my sunscreen, or sunscream as Loud Girl calls it. Suffice it to say, I’m not the happiest camper right now, but maybe tomorrow will get better.

My Summary:

Dinner was great. Lunch was bland and very healthy tasting, but not bad.

Bike ride after dinner was fun. We rented a surrey bike from the Boardwalk, but afterwards, my head was pounding HARD from the exertion.

Swimming was fun, how I got all those bug bites, I’ll never know. Creepy.

I am not Airport Lin. He’s copying me b/c I call him Airport Buzz when he’s traveling b/c he gets so crabby in the airports. I am AirPLANE Lin. Big difference. I just get tired of everyone pestering me for stuff and it flusters me, as I said before. On the plane, I need a snack, I’m thirsty, I need a book… and Loud Girl twice tries to put the tray table down on my head as I’m reaching to get someone something out of a backpack. Buzz is trying to hand me pretzels that he doesn’t want and I haven’t had a chance to get myself settled. Yeah I get a little cranky.

This laptop I’m typing on sux. It takes me about 5 tries to type a word. It’s very delicate and I have huge man-hands. The two are not mixing well.

Sinuses not good. Need Dayquil or prescription meds, but I’d probably forget those….

The 'upstream' comment made me laugh, man I hate when you have to trudge against traffic :rotfl:

Good job salvaging the day :thumbsup2

Tell Loud girl I laughed so hard my tongue turned to glue stix

I have to tell you both that this is one of the best TR's I've read so far.

My heart goes out to you for the troubles you had earlier today. I'm sure you won't let it happen again tho...you moved on and glad it ended well.

Sorry to hear about your pounding head Linnie - it shouldn't be that way...you're in WDW. Relax girl. Take a few minutes and go do something on your own away from the gang (it's what I do when I feel being pulled in all directions like a piece of taffy).

I can't wait to read what happens tomorrow. Sleep well guys.

OMG!! I love this dualing TR!! You guys are truely hilarious! :rotfl2:

I'm just going to sit here and wait for the next installment, prepared with Depends and a towel for wiping the screen and keyboard off.

  Hurry up, this is fantabulous!

:rotfl2: Man hands!!! :rotfl2:

A few more things I thought of:

Thank you for the nice comments about my drawings. That was a terrible countdown chart, I have to say. I usually do the countdown chart 2 months out, but it was a week after my dad died, so I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I finally got it done, but I thought it was awful-Tigger looked like an orange monkey, the castle wasn't even colored, Tinkerbell or Twinkles, as Loud Girl calls her, looks like she had collegen injected into her lips and poor Mickey-or Gickey, Mickey's half witted cousin... I forgot to draw his arm, so had to improvise and that ruined the numbers chart so I had to add an extra box at the top. Not my best work.. but thank you for all the nice comments. DS7 used to pronounce it "Gickey" a few years ago, that's how come we started calling him that. I drew some huge Mickey characters for his birthday one year and the Mickey turned out so odd-he's really hard for me to draw-I asked Trey who it was and he didn't even know-the drawing was so bad. So we started calling all my horrible drawings of Mickey "Gickey."

Blue River, I meant to tell you I'm sorry you lost your mom. That is so tough. Hugs to you.

That glue sticks comment-It actually went like this:

"Mommy, I'm tired. My legs hurt. You guys are wreckin' 'em. They turned into glue sticks."

HUH???? DD is so funny.

DH has his postcards printed out for the night-geek. Not as bad as last year though, when we brought that printer thing and a whole mess of popcorn salts b/c we needed them for all the popcorn we eat. GEEKS :dance3:

I see that you guys experience the Adventures of Autism, too! :grouphug:

Waiting patiently for the next installment(s).

Kathy

Do you really bring duct tape? That is great and EXACTLY what I needed this last trip. The rubber strip on the stroller that DS3 rests her feet on broke like 2 days into the trip. I figured I could get a little duct tape at the front desk- no go- they did give me "packing" tape which kind of worked but only held for 1/1/2 days! I just know the duct tape wouldve worked. Just added it to future packing list!!

Lin I am so sorry to hear about your great loss- I know it is very hard to "bounce" back (you will!)after losses like this, especially so close together. THoughts and prayers are with you and the family at this time :grouphug:

You guys are making me late this morning, because I can't tear myself away from your great TRs! OMG! Keep 'em coming please!!! :rotfl:

It's because you're the mother, that's why. Same story at my house. BTW, there is a clinic near Downtown Disney that could help you out with your sinus infection. We've visited twice, once for a sinus infection, once for a case of croup. I was hesitant to mention it because I don't want to disrupt Buzz's schedule ;) , but I hope you feel better!

Day 3 – Animal Kingdom – The Nastiest Pool in Orlando

Is there any way to predict the traffic patterns better in WDW? The two days we’ve been here have been dead. AK was no different. Walked onto EE at 10 a.m. with no wait. That should be some indication of how slow it is here. If I could figure it out, I'd show up like this every year. :cool1:

It’s almost lonely. I came to WDW four weeks after 9-11 and it was the same thing. But what’s the reason for it now? Last year seemed at least 30% busier than this year.

Trust me, I’m not griping. It’s just a little weird. Where the heck is everyone? The Disney hotels look full but the off-site hotels are definitely empty. The Caribe Royale, where we are, is a ghost town!

This hotel is NOT what I thought it was going to be. It’s nice, and would be a 5 star in Billings, but it’s just kind of a dump when compared to Disney run hotels. The employees are darn near worthless & don’t go out of their way for nothing. This is why we stay off-site FIRST. Can you imagine my disappointment if we stayed off-site AFTER we stayed at Disney? Here are a few pix of the room with Loud Girl’s help:

On Saturday morning, our REAL vacation begins as we leave the off-site hotel and move on property where it just “feels” more like Disney. :earboy2:

There’s not much to report about AK other than everything went smooth and both the kids had a blast on Dinosaur this year. Everyone pointed at us and snickered as we boarded Kali River Rapids with our Ponchos on. When the ride was over, there were only 4 Montanan’s still snickering. ;)

The only other note is that they changed the fries at Flame Tree BBQ to standard fries when they used to be kind of “spiced”. We liked the “spiced” better, but will survive without them. Flame tree hasn’t yet been ransacked by the “Health Nuts” who are ruining the Disney cuisine for children. Offer a healthy choice, sure, but don’t make all the selections healthy! My kids are ”skin and bones” and eat healthy for 11 ½ months a year. Let them eat the bad stuff for crying out loud! At least Beer hasn’t been outlawed yet so Dad is still good to go. As soon as the beer and wine are gone from WDW, I’m off to that frozen lake in Canada.

Our lunch at Flame Tree BBQ was awesome as usual. One problem though. Why are the ducks in WDW so adventurous? We had at least 6 ducks at one time surrounding our table looking for food. Moan Boy didn’t like them & we couldn’t even scare them off! Montana Ducks are different. Once sight of a human and they are flying in the other direction. Pull out a shotgun and you can see the duck drop a little poop as he beelines out of range.

We go back to AK on Sunday when we’ll hit the attractions we missed today. My kids have never seen It’s Tough To Be A Bug so I can’t wait to show them that. Loud Girl ain’t too hip on bugs so this should be entertaining.

I’m also looking forward to seeing the pictures from Photopass. I always worry that Moan Boy is looking off into space or rubbing his eyes or something. Uneventful is the right word for our first visit to Animal Kingdom on this trip and that’s just FINE by me.

We decided we needed more groceries so we motored :moped: over to Gooding’s after leaving AK.

Now, don’t listen to all the people that direct you to other stores. Gooding’s is the one to go to and not for the reasons that you may think. We went shopping at the Marketplace Center on 192 near Giordano’s the first night and while things there might be a little cheaper, you could also get killed.

The Marketplace area is not safe. There were gang members “bumping” to some rap music and some dude with a Brooklyn accent and a crazed look in his eyes came up to us begging for $20 so he and his daughter could get a room. It was all very bizarre. Enough to know that I’m not going back there unless I have to. When you have to spend an extra $20 just to leave the parking area safely, you didn’t save any money. Besides, I didn’t even know the music the gang members were listening to. Whatever happened to the “Humpty Dance” by Digital Underground? …or better yet, “Funky Cold Medina” by Tone Loc.

Gooding’s gets a bad rap because it’s just outside of Disney property and their prices are a little high. Ok, SKY HIGH! Heck, if I owned that business, I’d be gouging the crap outta idiots like me also. I’m sure the property taxes are higher than other stores so why not? The best part about Gooding’s is a well lighted parking area without any rap music or New Yorkers begging for money.

Anyway, it’s clean and neat, with a nice selection of wine and food and we feel at “home” there. I won’t shop anywhere else from now on. Sometimes, you pay extra just for the right feeling. Heck, I paid almost $200 for a 12 days worth of stroller usage. I could have purchased a dang nice one for that amount!

We made it back after spending $50 and forgetting our Diet Rite soda ensuring another visit. We spent time in the hotel room doing laundry :laundy: and cleaning up because we forgot to take down the do not disturb sign and the maids passed us by. Around 3, we hit the pool.

The pool is disgusting! There are dead bugs everywhere and not a hint of chlorine. We’re both worried about contracting Legionnaires Disease. Whatever that is, it can’t be good.

Moan Boy is close to swimming! We are so excited that we continue to visit this cesspool hoping he can return home as a “swimmer”. Once we get to our WDW hotel room, we’ll spend extra time in the pool free of worries about diseases and training the boy to swim. Disney runs a tight ship so I’m sure the pool area will be sparkling clean.

In the swamp-pool he got away from us and the water was over his head. As we rushed to save him I noticed he was kicking and trying to swim to the edge of the pool. Since he was so close, I made mom stop and we let him do it himself. So basically he actually did swim a little bit even if it was only a 14 inch span.

Today in the pool Clan Mills teamed up on me during a little splash fest. It was Buzz vs.Everyone Else. I had my “artillery” splash technique down and was able to fend off the barbarians. I had a good 17 foot splash distance going so none of them could even get close. The wife got one shot in when I was adjusting my sunglasses but I hunted her down and soaked her until she cried “Uncle”. :scared: Actually, she was laughing so hard she was totally defenseless so I took advantage like I always do. She laughs at me a lot even though I’m not trying to be funny. Why is that?

Back to the room for baths and showers to get the filth and stink off of us from swimming in the swamp. We need a little relaxation and trip posting before heading out to dinner at Whispering Canyon Café at Wilderness Lodge. Like I said earlier, I hear the waiters purposely mistreat the guests so I’m looking forward to a little fun.

By the way, Linnie the Pooh is feeling better. How do I know? I came out of the shower tonight and she was all dressed up, her hair done with all her jewelry and a nice shirt, only wearing my underwear instead of shorts. She was dancing, doing a little made-up jig, :dogdance: and said, ”How does this look?. I responded that it looked like she was feeling a lot better.

Off to Whispering Canyon Café at 6 p.m. everyone seems to be in a good mood. Even the boy! However, upon arrival, he starts to show the strains of the day. We were sat right away but it took 15 minutes until our waitress came over and another 25 minutes beyond that to get our food. We used every trick we could think of to keep Moan Boy from losing it. We used our old trick of “Toddler Escape” which is a walk-in day care that he hates. It’s always “do you want to go to Epcot tomorrow or Toddler Escape?”…. “Then you better be good!” It also works on the girl.

The food was fab-tabulous if you like back yard BBQ. The service was so-so but the gal was very nice so I tipped heavy. We saved another $22 with the DDE card.

We’re now back in the room, relaxing and watching “Friends” on TV. We’re putting the kids to bed early as we HAVE to show up at Epcot at the rope drop so the boy can hit Test Track first thing. With him, Test Track is not a want, but a need. We will fill that need.

Tomorrow Epcot. Weather is 91 and partly cloudy and very humid. Same forecast for tomorrow.

Summary

Hotel Pools –
If you can’t afford to take care of a swimming pool then don’t offer one!

Gooding’s – High priced, but you won’t get mugged either.

Whispering Canyon – Perfect for little kids. You wouldn’t want ADR here if you're planning a romantic evening for two!

I'm loving your TR, great job so far...I hope you're able to keep it up!

I totally agree with you about the kids menu thing, we eat healthy at home and rarely eat out, vacation is our "pig out and eat junk" time. Please don't deprive us of that.

As far as the ducks and wildlife on WDW property, my DH and I have a theory that they all belong to Farmer Ted and he comes out early every morning and leaves food for them in discreet locations, so while in actuality they are as tame as can be Disney is hoping that it looks like "wildlife"...just a theory!

Have Fun today, moving day is tomorrow! yeah!!

Hello Montana Family,

I'm happy to see that you are still posting!

Please don't take this wrong way...it is just an observation on my part. I was a little surprised to hear you complaining about your hotel. Your room/ suite is gorgeous and huge. It sure beats the tiny room we had at ASMo.

Where will you be staying at WDW? Which resort I mean? I am imagining one of those high priced places if you are disatisified with this place.

That being said...I'd much rather be onsite in my small room at ASMo than offsite in that place :teeth: .

BTW - although our pool was clean and you could smell the chlorine...there was an awful stench coming from a boxed in renovation area beside it. We had to walk by that area everytime we went to our room. Near the end I was smarter and took the long way around to keep from "gagging".

Can't wait to hear about Epcot.

That statement was really funny. Apparently they don't have Duck Hunting Season at WDW. I was under my :laundy: last Saturday and I thought I had to actually duck down, it was crazy with all the gunshots going off all morning.

Loving your report. My DS sounds a little like Moan Boy. Speech delays and lots of quirkiness, but very loving and affectionate. Can't wait for the next installment. :) :)

Mumbler, thanks! We ARE excited to move tomorrow. And today was great. I'll post it soon.

blue_river, you're a champ for hanging with us so long. I think we lost most of our following. I'm sure this is not very interesting compared to other trip reports. As far as the room goes, I apologize if we seem like "snobs". We really don't mean to. It's just you notice the little things that are NOT in the pictures. The horrible, disgusting pool. The staff that just doesnt care. The mold in the bathroom and the wallpaper coming off. The leaky faucet and shower head that keep you up along with the paper thin walls. For $250+ per night you expect more.

WE move to our DVC 2-Bedroom at Saratoga Springs Resort starting tomorrow and we're ready to go "home".

We stayed at Wyndham Palms last year (off-site for 4 nights before moving to WDW) and it was A LOT better. The only reason I switched was NO internet connection at the Palms. I also paid an extra $100 / night for this room over the Palms and the Palms was way better.

WDW2005Part1006.jpg

Last year, Palms, Living Room - $169 per night with 50" Big Screen!

Next year, I may just purchase more points and stay at WDW for 10 nights instead of this off-site stuff that we just don't appreciate or enjoy. However, it is good training for our REAL vacation which begins tomorrow!!!! :cool1:  :cool1:

I'll post day 4 as soon as I finish tonight. It's nice to see a few of you are still reading. Thank you. :goodvibes

Day 4 – Epcot – My Sandwich, Earl.

Do you have that one memory of WDW burned into your head? Do you then try to relive it again and again upon each return? Well, I do. However, mine's a simple one that easy to repeat. Today it happened for like the 30th time.

Walking towards Morocco’s Marrakesh Restaurant for our noon ADR the memory repeated itself. We had just stopped at Germany so the children could watch the train and I ran to Sommerfest to grab a beer. It killed me to have to skip the Bratwurst but we were on our way to lunch so I thought it was a poor idea. :confused3

After getting the bier, I gathered up the herd and we strolled leisurely towards our dining destination, sharing the beer with my wife and looking over the lake.

That’s the memory! The one I think about at night prior to going to sleep. The one I think about when Moan Boy is losing it. The one I think about two weeks after we get home and I go to work planning the next one. You get the picture.

Sometimes (during the dream) it’s a glass of wine, or maybe some food from the F&W Festival, but no matter what it is, it’s the same to me.

Epcot is our FAVORITE park. :worship: And it’s unanimous. It’s not the rides or attractions, it’s the wide open sidewalks filled with good food and wine, a beautiful view, some entertainment and my loving family.

After all the years of going to Epcot, I don’t ever recall going by Canada and NOT stopping to wait for Off Kilter, the Canadian band that plays outside along the sidewalk. I have always loved them. Watching and listening to them makes me feel like I’m in a faraway land. It’s awesome. One problem though. Off Kilter is gone! Either that or on hiatus. I was so disappointed! :sad2:

The boy got his Test Track and we all rode Soarin’ twice. We also loved Morocco and the restaurant. It was a very nice change of pace. The food was really good and staff was so nice. Maybe the nicest we’ve encountered at WDW.

We discovered that The Living Seas is no longer. That took me by surprise, but we DID enjoy the Nemo show that replaced it and thought it was better than the old one.

For the first time ever, we did the Figment show at the Imagination Pavilion. It was cute. To be honest, we never knew it existed! The “Snake” show was voted down (Honey I Shrunk The Audience). Neither of the kids like it.

Yes, we did both boats at Norway and Mexico. Yes the kids squealed “Wheee”. We got it out of the way and we’re not going back this year.

We also hit the “Epcot Ball” on the way out and I got some good “rest” after 5 hours of park touring, eating, and two beers. Both my kids like this ride. The monotone narration and dark lighting always put me to sleep. I love it. :thumbsup2

Hit the pool again only this time my wife had goggles and was unaffected by my “Artillery” splash technique. She got me pretty good and seemed quite satisfied with herself. I let her have her moment.

Loud Girl got a timeout for being a “bad little baby” and screamed for a new record, 40 minutes. I finally gave up, went in and gave her a quick swat and she quieted down. After 5 minutes of quiet, she was free again. They never learn.

We cancelled our Spoodle’s ADR for tonight since we were stuffed from Morocco. We have decided to give in to the children and take them to McD’s at Downtown Disney. After all the fruit plates and chicken pizza that the now health conscience Mouse is serving, we feel they’ve earned the right to fatten up a little.

My wife & I have figured out that if we split up periodically, we can accomplish a lot more.

For instance, we needed Fast Passes for Soarin’ so I ran through the gauntlet to get them while she hit the Companion Bathroom with the monkeys. She took the kids to the little Train Set in Germany while I got the beer. She got the McD’s food for the kids while I got the sandwiches from Earl of Sandwich. Divide & Conquer is the theme we live by. With two cell phones, it’s easy to do without worry of losing one another.

Do you name your food? I do :teeth: We fed the kids McD’s at Downtown Disney and took their food near the tables along the water near Captain Jacks (by Rainforest). Mom and dad had a couple of Margaritas :drinking1 while the children wolfed down there Mickey “D’s”. It was really relaxing as both kids were well-behaved and we watched the sunset.

Side note; the best Margaritas in the world are located at the Capt. Jack’s Margarita bar.

When they finished, I headed to Earl of Sandwich for food to take back (we won’t eat that McDonalds crap!) to the room while mom and the two monkeys headed to World of Disney to purchase Moan Boy his Birthday gift from Grandma (money she gave him). We decided to meet at the Lego Dinosaur near McD’s.

Before I forget, two things: One, the parking at Downtown Disney is horrible. I mean HORRIBLE! You can never find a spot. Also, the Earl of Sandwich RULES!!! I cannot stress this enough. No matter how long the line, trust me, it moves quickly. The sandwiches are “top notch”. When I really like something a lot, I name it. Since I have no imagination, I named my sandwich “Earl”. My wife, also in the same boat as me (lack of imagination} named her sandwich “Duke”. Like I said earlier, who could love us?

Back at the hotel room, we type our reports, watch “Friends” and enjoy our children. Tomorrow we start our REAL vacation. The “warm up” is over.

Tomorrow? Nothing! We move on-site, shop, and go see the fireworks over MK from a boat at GF. We also have a Character Meal planned prior at 1900 Park Fare. We are NOT visiting any parks!! Wish us luck!!!!

 :cool1:  :cool1:  :cool1:  :cool1:  :cool1:  :cool1:  :cool1:  :cool1:

Summary

Earl of Sandwich –
I can’t repeat myself enough, if you haven’t tried this place, and like sandwiches, go there and eat! Oh! And don’t forget to name your sandwich!

Soarin’ – If Moan Boy loves something it must be good. Wait! He loves Chicken McNuggets! Forget that statement.

Lego Dinosaur – Who in the heck put this darn thing together? There must be 1,000,000 Lego’s in this darn thing!

Have fun going home tomorrow. Still enjoying reading your TR. Hope Linnie is still feeling better.

My version:
Again, the man hands thing is working against me here tonight on this tiny lap top... This will be short. Thank you to my mom for those genes. :rolleyes1

I didn't post yesterday bc I was too darn tired. Had a pretty decent night's sleep actually. AK was good, swimming was good. I was a little disappointed with Whispering Canyon-the food was good, but it was really slow and not nearly as entertaining as I thought it would be. I loved Everest Expedition. That was great!! Kept my eyes closed the first time, opened them the 2nd time and I'd recommend that-I saw a lot more that way!!!!

I do have to say that I am feeling better-no more sickness, the cut on my thumb is better, but my bug bites are still oozing and icky and my huge chin zit is still there. It is getting a little better. I have been putting toothpaste on it bc that's all I have. Seems to be healing it. Buzz is calling it my 3rd eye. Gotta love him.

Today was great! I love Epcot. I did get a little choked up during Soarin' when I saw the hot air balloons. I remembered how much my dad loved hot air balloons and how when they'd fly over his house, he'd run out on the deck to watch them and take pictures. I warned Buzz I may burst into tears for a seemingly unknown reason, (but it will be from grief) but it didn't happen today. I just choked up. I'm sure it'll happen at the weirdest time.

blue__river, I told Buzz that every year he complains about our off-site hotel. There's always something wrong with it and "we're never going back." This place is fine. The pool actually is a little grungy. But overall, the place is ok. I'd stay here again. It's just his "thing" to gripe about anything that isn't Disney. After 16 years, I've gotten used to him.

This hotel has the most comfortable comforters. Hey maybe that's why they call 'em comforters!!! I'm trying to figure out how to sneak one in my suitcase. I just love them. I crawl under one and immediately fall asleep. See, there's a good thing about this place. Every place is different and every place has pluses and minuses.

I did not name my sandwich Duke, I named him "Sandwich." I just called him Duke for short. Probably even weirder. But it was a GREAT sandwich. The margaritas are soooo good, but my stomach can only handle about one a half, but I'd recommend them!!!

One thing I ldo ove is the shopping. I took the kids to the World of Disney tonight at Downtown Disney and had a blast. The kids didn't, but I got my son a nice pirate ship that he likes and some other things. I hope they fit in the suitcase... Otherwise Buzz might not be bringing home his stuff.

And yes, I do have to admit that I put on his underwear (over mine) if that makes it any better and was dancing around the hotel room. He's right-we are meant for each other as no one else could ever love us!! I just love messing with him. I put on those goggles in the pool today and was an unstoppable force with my own splashing machine. He tried to get me back by kicking his legs to create a splash, but got a cramp in his old man legs and that ended that! Then loud girl wanted her goggles back and I had to surrender them.

We'll see what tomorrow brings.

My summary:
Good swimming

Good Epcot

Good Sandwich

Good time!!

Thank you for the wonderful trip report thus far... I love the pre-pre trip stuff too! I also love the his & hers aspect!

I have to agree that Capt Jack's Margarita's are the best... there is just somethng about getting them from the little bar outside.

I've been in a DTD kind of mood all day, but refrained from heading over there .....now this has made it worse. I guess I know where we will be tomorrow afternoon!

I hope you have a great day moving on site. Enjoy your dinner at GF. DD and I love it there!!!
