I just bought my BM starter kit at Sephora tonight and its making my face itch and tingle!!!! Anyone else have this problem when they first started and did it go away?

Yes, I did. After trying several mineral brands I figured out that it wasn't the makeup itself, but the brushes that I was sensitive to. I have to use a synthetic kabuki instead of a natural hair one, and now I can use any brand. I'm set for life with all the samples I have, lol!!

This is a shot in the dark but has anyone seen or used the Tanda Luxe Facial rejuviation device? Ulta is having friends and family this week and it is 195 I with 20% off it comes to 155 and I have 140 in gc from my b'day. I want to use it on the skin of my neck. still looking for info on it.

ELF glitter eyeliners
ELF 100 eyeshadows

I LOVE E.L.F.!!!!! Bought their mineral makeup at Christmas when it was totally on sale...love it so much more than BM. I don't know if it's a lighter powder (not in shade but texture) or what, but it doesn't make me look dry/chalky like BM did. I really love their sheer mineral stuff...I guess it's supposed to be like a finishing powder but I use it for foundation most of the time. They are running a sale right now for Mother's Day, some items are buy one get one free...also a sale today only where you got 65% off some 3 big complete sets that was originally $95.00, 65% off took it down to $33.25. It was my present to myself for getting my bonus today!

Decided to buy it after checking out on line reviews, after all ULTA has a 30 or 60(?) day return policy. With the ff it is 20% off so it is a good deal.

ALSO, for those of you who saw my post at Christmas time about the Mason Pearson Brush which is insanely expensive I have some good news. I was in Marshall's yesterday and they had a Janake boar bristle brush for 16.99 looked just like the MP. Got it and then checked it out on line. It is made in Italy and sells for 59.00. It works just as well if not better than the MP AND it is bigger. My hair is so much smoother since I have been using the boar bristle brush. It is not a styler but distributes the oils and smooths the cuticle. If you run across one ....get it.

I've been using cereve facial cleanser with my Mia but it's pretty blah. Any suggestions for a facial cleanser?

Also has anyone tried the cleanser and moisturizers at Costco? Normally if they put ther name on a product it's pretty awesome.

Anything Olay or Neutrogena makes me break out. I started using the Aveeno cleanser and I'm really happy with it.

I'm in desperate need for a GREAT waterproof mascara. My eyes are so sensitive, they water constantly during allergy seasons, anytime it's windy, and even when the sun is shining too brightly. I've tried ALL of the regular mascaras, but none of the expensive (department store/ULTA) brands. The outside corners of my eyes always look  because I can't keep mascara (or eye shadow) on them. Please help! :scared1:

I just dyed my hair from a medium brown to a dark auburn. I like it so far but want to go a bit redder. Anyone know a good color protecting shampoo to use, preferably from a drugstore? I hear red fades very quickly.

If you use henna to increase the red in your hair it doesn't fade. Not sure if you are familiar with it, it is the herb that they use for the artwork on hands and feet. It also is a natural way to die hair. There are no chemicals and it is actually good for your hair. I've been using henna for awhile now and love it. Just do some research as there are many brands that don't work as well since they add fillers to the henna. I get mine from hennasooq.com

My allergies are just as severe as what you describe, and my eyes are just too sensitive during allergy season to wear mascara. I even tried all natural (organic) mascara to no avail. (And waterproof mascara irritates my eyes too.) My eye doctor basically said don't wear anything that irritates my eyes during allergy season.

When allergy season is over, I wear Dior waterproof mascara. Best mascara ever, though it's a bit pricey.

Sorry I wasn't of any help. Just wanted to say I feel your pain! :headache:

I don't have allergies, but at times I've worn vaseline as mascara. Just curl your lashes, and apply vaseline w/ your fingertips, and comb through w/ an eyelash comb. Of course it doesn't look as good as mascara, but it definitely looks better than nothing.

I adore Olay, but ONLY the 'sensitive skin' ones. The others have so much fragrance, they make me break out too.

I WISH I could do this, but my lashes are blonde :headache: Anytime I've ever gone without mascara, people have thought I was sick. :rotfl:

bellebud: Thanks for the suggestion! Never though to use vaseline, but it sounds like it would be moisturizing for the lashes....I'll give it a try! :thumbsup2

I read in All You magazine that vaseline has a ton of makeup uses. I recently started using it as an eye makeup remover. And I apply a thin coat on my eyelid before applying eye shadow. I like it better than any primer I've used. I asked my dermatologist about it this morning and she was concerned I would eventually develop an allergy to the lanolin in vaseline. I have to change eye makeup every 6 months or so because I become allergic. I guess it's technically "contact dermatitis."

I have a question that may have already been asked, but I haven't seen it on this thread. Does anyone know of a good tanning lotion/oil? :beach:

Purity Made Simple works really well with the Clarisomic.

You know, I kept reading this over and over - so I bought a giant $40 one. It's -okay-. :confused3 I dunno... I don't love it. I end up washing my face, with my hands with that - then go back with the Clarisonic, and Loreal Revitalift cleanser. Dove used to make a ProAge one. I LOOOOVED it. Gone. :(

Self Tanner or ???

And MASCARA ~ Have you tried Blinc? It's hard to get off, even when you wash your face.

I HATE when they d/c MU favorite items. It makes it so hard to find a new replacement. Righ now I'm searching for foundation. I've tried MUFE Face & Body, MUFE Matte Velvet, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua, and Nars tinted moisturizer. I hated them all. I just ordered Koh Gen Do and a Laura Mercier one. Hopefully I like one of them.

I know what you mean. They didn't discontinue it, but they somehow changed the formula of my mascara and it stinks! I'm hoping that I just got a bad batch or something because I cannot believe they would do something like that on purpose. I've tried 'They're Real' that everyone raves about and it's ok, but I still don't like it as much as Lash Injection. My DD calls it 'miracle mascara' and we both want the original version back.

I didn't like They're Real either. I LOVEEEEEE Diorshow.

Diorshow is very popular, but I don't like it at all. It did absolutely nothing for my lashes other than maybe give them some color. No lengthening or thickening whatsoever. I think maybe the people who love it so much have very long, thick lashes to begin with and don't really want or need much in the way of thickening?
