Have you tried the Urban Decay or Make Up For Ever pencils?

Both Urban Decay and MakeUp Forever go on very nice. Mac also has a good liner pencil. But if you want a really good stay on liner try the smug pot ( or whatever they are called). You use a brush and they go on really nice.

I've heard good things about the UD pencils, but they are one of the few I haven't tried yet - I think they don't have the color I need if I am remembering correctly. I'll have to check again. TY!

(Don't even get me started on MAC - I will never buy another one of their products!)

OOOHH! I just checked the Ulta website and UD seems to have a lot more colors than I remember - I will def. check them out!

Ok, so today as I was applying eyeshadow, I noticed my first eye wrinkle on my upper lid. :headache: Thought I was too young for that, but 32 almost going on 33 is probably average...right?

Anyway, I do use eye cream, but just below and around my eye. Most eye cream jars I've read say "Do not use on eyelid."

So what do you do for fine lines/wrinkles on your upper lid? Please help me! I've enter a new phase in my life, and I have no clue about this. :thumbsup2

Thanks,

I've made some recent finds lately and thought I'd share my experiences:

For those who have problems with silicone face primers (like me), I found a non-silicone one that works great. It is from Korres. A little pricey, but a little goes a long way!

I've recently discovered NYX at Ulta - their eyeshadow singles are AMAZING! They have tons of colors and they blend well, then stay put! They are only $3.50 and are much nicer than all of the HE shadows I have tried.

I also started using ELF eyeshadow primer - $1 at Target! So much better than UDPP!

Still on the hunt for an eyeliner that goes on nicely - meaning not having to apply too much pressure or going over the same line 50 times to get color. Not a fan of liquid liner and all of the pencils I have tried are very hard, almost like a pencil lead. Any recs?

Even though LORAC is a liquid it is in a pen and works great!

Does anyone know of a good moisture for oily skin, I've been using oil of Olay , but I read somewhere that I should be using a serum one.

So far I am VERY happy!

Hello ladies,

First time asking for advice on this thread but I've enjoyed lurking!

So, I had a horrible stye which lasted almost 6 months (!) until I finally decided to have it removed surgically. I have been not using eye makeup or mascara ever since I got it and now I'm afraid that I'll get one again once I restart.:sad1: I read that styes can be caused by not properly removing eye makeup. I have always felt like I don't remove every bit and I guess it was true. I am looking for a good cleanser/remover that won't be too harsh on my skin. Do you have any suggestions?

Throw away all your old eye makeup, in case the stye was caused by bacteria.

TinkPinkPoem,

I swear by this eye makeup remover, it's awesome! Very gentle on the eyes, and removes all mascara, eyeshadow...you name it. Aqualibrium Dual-Action Eye Makeup Remover:

There aren't many H20 stores....I always have to do mail order myself. But it's so worth it for H20 Plus products!

Did that already. It was also a good excuse to buy new makeup!

Thank you, I just looked into it!

I use make-up remover wipes and have no trouble getting every bit of eye stuff off - even waterproof eyeliner and mascara. The ones I am liking right now are the Simple ones, they get everything off!

Has anyone used Clinique's lash power mascara? I've heard mixed reviews about it standing against the heat & humidity. I want to try it for my August trip! ;) TIA!

Not sure if anyone is following this, but today is day 15 and the 'mini' thrill is 10% off your Sephora.com purchase. Just an FYI. :goodvibes

What is Birchbox? Did I miss the post? Sounds like it is right up my alley.

This isn't technically makeup related, but I thought some of you ladies might follow lanaindiana on YouTube or her blog. She hasn't been online since March and I'm very worried about her. I know her husband has been very ill and I'm guessing her absence is a result of that. I just wondered if any of you who follow her might know what is going on. She is such a sweet lady who has had an incredibly difficult life. I hope she is ok - or at least as ok as can be expected under the circumstances.

Hey! :)

Did I tell you guys I picked up Michael Kors Very Hollywood? It's really pretty. A little *richer* for lack of a better word, than what I would normally wear. I like florals, aquatics and fruityness - but something about it, made me wanna bathe in it. I think it's the unique "Fresh Gardenia" scent. I pair it will Hempz Orange lotion. So, I just adore the combo. I like it.

And staying with the Michael Kors theme... So, I go to Lord & Taylor, on my lunch. They had a big ol' sale on summer/spring clothes - and I had a 25% off *already reduced prices* WOooo HooOoOo!

I walk in, and sitting on a display was this:

DAMMIT! I came for clothes. Not full price Michael Kors purses! But she was shining and smiling at me....waving. Flaunting her full price tag.

I fought it. I fought it, I fought it, I fought it... I lasted a long time. Like 10 whole minutes. I walked away, looked back at her - I could have sworn I saw her a shed tear.

And then, this:

Her name is Penny, and I love her.

I check her every day. I am guessing that Henry is not doing so well or worse than that..... Funny you should mention, I had no idea anyone else on here followed her.
