CR, Love the new bag!!! :thumbsup2 Love the old one too.

That's an awesome idea to trade bags.

Anyone ever check out Hautelook.com ? Philosophy started today. ;)

Bundle, I'm liking those UD colors.

So I have a question for all you make up junkies? How do you all store your make-up and brushes? and purfumes?

I was entirely underwhelmed with their selection of Phil stuff this morning. I'm a Phil junkie! I get better deals on their site when they offer %off.

Have any of you gals tried any sort of beauty balm while at WDW? I'm curious to see how well it holds up to sweat.

Hi Corgi,

I haven't worn a BB cream at WDW but I've tried two different ones this summer in humid NYC. The first one was the Hot Pink Skin 79 - I loved the sheer to light coverage and the staying power but it broke me out. I have oily/sensitive skin so I decided to try the Boscia BB Cream next. It gave me a nice, glowy look but was a little too moisturizing for me. My make up was sliding all over my face within six hours. I even tried using Monistat underneath it but no dice.

I really want to try the one from Smashbox at some point as it is supposed to control oil. Maybe the third time will be the charm...LOL!

Good luck!

Lisa

Help!

I was so excited about EDM and actually made it a week....then yesterday I starting itching and breaking out, oh well, back to liquid  so glad I hadn't placed an order, I couldn't find the right shade after coloring my hair darker..they were all off slightly.

I haven't put anything on mine, my face responds and heals quicker with the less I do. Good luck ;)

Oh my gosh, I was super excited too- only used it twice. I look like I am going through puberty LOLOL.

I just recently found this thread and love all of the great tips. It looks like there are some good reviews for the Neutrogena healthy skin rejuvenator and I was interested in trying this out. Can anyone explain the difference between this and the Neutrogena microderm system kit? Both use disposable pads but there is a significant price difference.

The Microdermabrasion pads are much rougher. I actually don't care for them. They were out of the Healthy Skin pads, so I grabbed those instead and they're annoying me. I guess it depends on what you're looking for.

The Microderma pads are scrubbing my self tanner right off. :guilty:

CathrynRose,

I have to say, you have two of the cutest dogs!!

Thanks! I love 'em!

Are both of you guys using the finishing powders from EM? I hate them. They make me break out, and I dont use them. Skip those, and try EM, again.

And I like Juice Beauty for break outs.

Has anyone tried e.l.f.? It is carried at Target and online.

I am on a budget... but the stuff is made in China :crazy2:

I did buy the eyebrow gel/powder and I really like it. So I am torn....

Thoughts/reviews??

Okay on my way home from 2 weeks at wdw and let met tell you NOTHING holds up when the sweat is dripping off! It was so hot I would have worn one of those 80's sweat bands just to keep it out of my eyes.

Remember how I was obsessing about my hair? It was a lost cause I ended up with a flip every day and the frizz was horrible in the humidity. NOTHING worked when I stepped out of the condo. I am wondering my hair dresser uses thinning shears on my hair and I wonder if that could be the reason I get all the little fly away hairs and lots of them. Makes sense. he always tells me not to layer my hair in the summer but isn't that what thinning shears do? I am going to tell him NOT to use them and tell him to chip it instead. Can anyone weigh in on this?

BTW Iused the new Natural Instincts color with the two week revitalization packet. It turned the gray parts of my hair.......YELLOW. eek.

I was going to go to Guerlain at Epcot to get make up but when I caught a glimpse of my self in the mirror i just walked out. The only good thing was my L'oreal double extend mascara that stuff is great and even though I am a make up snob I still go back to the L'oreal mascara.

I just do not know how all those people down there end up with great hair. I want to have the Brazilian blow out but am afraid of the chemicals.

NO! Do not buy make up made in China. If you have an Ulta near you they have their own brand that is actually pretty good. If you buy a multi-color compact of shadow etc it will be made in China but if you buy the singles they are made in USA and I was told by the clerk they are made by MAC. You can sometimes get them for 2/5.00 and there is always a coupon on line. Sometimes they have 20% off too. There are lots of brands that are inexpensive and not made in China. To quote gossmakeupartist.com "We all want to have tons of make up and colors but we only NEED a few good ones."

If you want to get some good deals check out age one of this thread. Beauty crunch had GREAT deals on Stila andToo Faced.

Forget it! Save your money I bought it and did not like it at all.

I'm looking for a good waterproof liquid eyeliner. Something reasonably priced if there is such a thing LOL. Also, would you put a primer under the eyeliner or only the eyeshadow?

JoAnn

No to primer under eyeliner why would you if it is waterproof. I will tell you that I have never been disappointed by anything from Make UP Forever. When you say reasonably priced it is priced like anyother make up at Sephora. It is made in France and I really love it.

I have to second the ULTA recommendation! I love their eyeshadows (so many colors and easy to blend!) and their blushes. I really like their clear brow gel also. I'm not a fan of their mascaras or lip colors though.

Those people with great hair down there at WDW, irritate that crap out of me ;)

Thanks for the input. I never the primer under the eyeliner but was wondering what others did, that was pretty much my thinking.

I'll check out the Make up Forever.

I hope you had a great trip!

Has anyone tried the Revlon Grow Luscious mascara?

I don't care for it. The brush is HUGE! I think you could spread cement with it!

The mascara is clumpy and not at all smooth to apply. I'm disappointed. :sad2:

Seriously my hair makes me think of Gene Simmons. NO that is wrong his is more kinky mine is just like I stuck my finger in a light socket. REally. HOw do those people look so good? I have tried so many things. Well now I am obsessed by not having thinning shears used on my next cut. If they only chip into the bottom then all the hair will be the same length and I do not think it will frizz. YEAH after this what is left? I guess the Brazilian Blow Out.

I'll try to not meet you in the park because mine always looks great! :lmao: Oh, who am I kidding, my hair always looks like crap! I've given up a long time ago on having decent hair when it is hot and humid in the paks. Right now my hair is pretty short so it is easier to have decent hair, but when I had longer hair it was pretty much a pony tail every day.
