Has anybody else questioned the quality of products you've purchased from Beautycrunch? A few months ago I bought 2 of the Two Faced 'Fantastic Plastics' sets, because I already knew that I liked the Lash Injection mascara. Since the price of the set was about the same as just the mascara in the store, I figured I couldn't go wrong.
Well, the mascara I got in the sets is just not the same. I wonder if it was a bad lot, and that's how these products ended up in Beautycrunch's hands in the first place. It doesn't make 'tubes'. It doesn't lengthen my lashes. And it does smudge and give me panda eyes. It's just all wrong. And I went and bought 2 sets. I've been using the first one for several weeks because I don't like to waste things, but I finally broke down and bought a new tube of Hot Chocolate at Ulta on Friday. I figure I can give the other tube to my teenaged niece.
I remember that way up-thread somebody had said they tried Lash Injection mascara and didn't understand what all the fuss was about. Maybe you purchased it from Beautycrunch, and got the same poor quality mascara I got. If so, you might want to buy some at a store and give it another shot.
In the Fantastic Plastics set, along with the mascara, are Lip Injection and Wrinkle Injection. I tried the Lip Injection because I would like a little bit of lip plumping - not "The Incredible Mr. Limpet" - otherwise known as "Angelina Jolie" lips, just a little plumping. I found that Lip Injection stings like the dickens for a minute or two, then that goes away. My lips turn red, but don't swell at all. I can get red lips without the stinging, so that product is a bust.
I really like Wrinkle Injection. It's just a makeup primer. I like it better than Monistat chafing relief gel, but not enough to justify the difference in cost, so I'll be sticking with the Monistat.
