Can I be your deep set eye friend?? Nearly everything I put on my eyes ends up underneath. And don't get me started on trying to find fun eyeshadow colors that don't make my eyes look even deeper and darker than they already are. Arrgh!

I just got back from the gym. I gained THREE pounds! That may not sound like much but it took me six months to lose the last three pounds. That dining plan is evil, I'll tell ya, eee-VIL but worth every yummy bite! Oh well, back to the treadmill I guess.

Okay I have deepset or hooded eyes too. Gossmakeupartist has a few tutorials on this and he shows you how to use vivid color. I have done this and it works.....of course I did not use clown level vivid but deep purple and deep green as well as browns. I should get a commission from this guy but really I love his make up tutorials. He is so clear and explains everything.

Bella ~ I got jury duty too! Mine is the end of July. I only have to go for 3 days and it is a different court than I have been to before. I have had jury duty approximately every 4 years since I was 19.

Bella - I have checked out his videos many times. Surprisingly, I got past the fact that he was a guy pretty fast. LOL. May have something to do with the fact that I'm married to a hair dresser - so those taboos don't effect me much anymore.

Anyway, I have found that gold and silver, light-reflective shadows work best to bring out my eyes. Not sure how that works with a hooded eye, but I would think it would be opening as well. I like Goss' advice, but sometimes I like to wear crazy colors and can't stick to his "deep set" pallatte.

LOL - he would do my hair whenever I asked, but I don't usually ask. I have learned alot from watching him blow me out though (that almost sounds dirty heehee). He did do my hair for our wedding though and if we have a big event I get a blow out (we typically do not have these LOL).

No bad cuts so far, but I'm not allowed to request anything. I sit and he cuts. I trust him and hey, you get what you pay for, right!?

Makeup artist would be fun, but I'd always feel like mine wasn't good enough I think. As it is, I will get an honest opinion of what I wear makeup wise - sometimes that's good and sometimes not so much.

This made me laugh as it is the running joke here. At my house it is a case of the cobbler's children... DH cuts his own hair (in fact, he did it today) and DD gets a haircut like 2 times a year!

You know, I always said that IF I ever married again, my man will be a chef but I think a hair dresser would be even better!

I picked this up at Ulta when they had the 20% discount sale.

It's from Cargo, a line I've seen at Sephora but Ulta just started carrying it. The Color Palette in "Baja". I'm still playing with it. I used all four colors yesterday and it looked over done, but I used the two colors on the right tonight and loved it! I recommend this for any of my deep set, brown eyed buddies. They had other colors too, and the case is really nice!

Ooooh, I really like the Cargo line. I'm still waiting for this Ulta down the street to open but I'm adding this to my list (deepset brown eyes here ) And yes, their packaging is really cool.

I'm not one to brag or anything, but my DH used to be a chef and a masseuse too (and worked at a bike shop but I don't think I benefit much from that one LOL). He cooks often, but I can't say I get many massages. I'll have to work on that one.

If you buy this, make sure you have some brushes. It doesn't come with any, not even those cheap little spongy things on a stick.

Nope, I took him on his first disney trip and he says it's ok if we don't go again.

I'm good on brushes, but I do notice that loads of cosmetics don't come with brushes anymore.

Just saw an add for Maybelline motorized mascara. I knew it would not be long before Lancome put out a cheaper model of their motorized mascara. Honestly, I am kind of surprised they did not put it out in the Loreal line. I have tried but cannot like the Maybelline but I can use the Loreal. So the Lancome is 36.00 and I am betting the Maybelline is under 10.

Liquid Keratin Treatment. This is an at home keratin treatment without formaldahyde(sp). I was wondering if anyone has used it. www.liquidkeratin.com. I am more interested in using their after care products and not doing the actual treatment. I saw on MSN today an article from allure which outlined 6 ways to keep your hair frizz free. The last one was to apply liquid keratin conditioner and leave on 10 minutes but when I went to the site they said nothing about using the conditioner without the kit. I know this is a shot in the dark and I am going to post this on a seperate thread but I figured somone (Cathryn Rose where are you?) might know about it.

Have you tried a body oil, instead of a lotion? Like Neutrogena's light body oil? Wal Mart actually has a knock off it, I like just as much.

Another great option is OPI's Avojuice (found at Ulta in a ton of scents) Totally not sticky at all, what so ever.

They said it is a step above normal drug store brands, more comparable to expensive brands, only "a bit more clumpy".
