I'm trying to find a really great nude lipstick. One that is not sheer and that COVERS but that looks great. I have a Mac one that was recommended and that is not supposed to be sheer but covers like sheer and I do not like it at all....any suggestions?

Make Up For Ever #213 is nude on me and I really LOVE MUFE products. :)

sephora is having their 15% friends and family till the 19th of april use code MADNESS on line. Also don't forget if you are a beauty insider you get a free b day gift which you can also get on line as well as in the store.

AWESOME, Thanks, Bella! :thumbsup2

I hate myself....I had two gift cards that totaled 100.00 but I spent another 200.00. That place is like a drug to me! I am so bad, my freind who always buys high priced make up and then never uses it but gives it to me gave me 4 laura mercier eyeshadows. I put them away and forgot about them. So I go to Sephora and what do I buy? Two of the 4 I already had. So I then have to go back and because it was spent money I got the credit for 46 but turned around and spent 55!

BTW today is the last day for the 15%

Have any of you ladies tried everyday minerals eyeshadow? I'm generally not a fan of mineral eyeshadow nor budget brands, but this is great eyeshadow at an amazing price. You can get a sample size for $2.50 and a full size for $6.00. The sample sizes are very generous and go a long way, so I wouldn't recommend getting the full size unless it's a shade you would use daily. I've had a couple sample size shadows for over a year now and even though I use them often, they are still over half full.

I just ordered 8 eyeshadows for myself, 3 for my sister, as well as some foundation and my total came to around $35.00. I'm very picky about eyeshadow and typically use only high-end brands but I've found EM to be just as good as the more expensive stuff. Downside is you can only buy online, so it's sometimes difficult to judge color, but the descriptions are fairly good and for $2.50, what do you have to lose?

Oh, and BTW, I have no financial interest in this company. I've just always loved their foundation (prefer it to everyday minerals), and recently discovered what a great bargain their eyeshadows are and wanted to share my discovery with you ladies!

Yes, I love their whole line of products! I have quite a collection of EM eye shadows- I think about 40 different colors. Got all in the "sample" size, and haven't run out of any yet (and most are way over a year old).

The blushes are wonderful, and I love the Intensive formula foundations. Haven't tried the lip glosses since they changed formulas a while ago- the older ones I have are OK, but a little too sheer with not quite enough color intensity, IMO. The entire product line is an extremely good value for the price.

Have you tried their brushes? Awesome, and great prices!!

LOL!! Sephora is crack!

I wasn't too bad. Spent $65 total on a few MUFE eye pencils and a lipstick. BUT, add in the stuff I bought from Urban Decay with the 30% off and I spent a few hundred on cosmetics today. :scared1: I don't even actually NEED anything. I've got a rolling cart FULL. I'm an addict!

yes me too I have A LOT of stuff...I have the new lip glosses and they are better but they are quite frothy..I LOVE the whole line and you can win make up and other things on their fan club, I have won several times. The best is the lavender mint balm!!!! i love everything they have and want to get more even though my HUGE train case is over flowing with just EDM! :rolleyes1

Their brushes are the BEST, everyone of my dd friends love her brushes and want to know where to get them. plus their brushes are very reasonably priced. They are always have some kind of freeby when you order so much in products.

No, but I'm glad you mentioned it because I noticed they are so much cheaper than the brushes I usually buy and I was wondering about the quality. I'm going to have to give them a try - maybe with my next purchase.

My favorites are the flat top, long handle kabuki, and eye kabuki. They really are top quality brushes for cheap prices- I don't know how they do it!!

Have you tried MAC Myth?

It is absolutely opaque, but so much so - it's a little dry.

If you start with a good clear sticky gloss (Like MAC's lipglass) it goes on much better.

I think I've seriously tried every mascara from a drugstore to department store. I'm completely torn on a good mascara for the summer. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!!!

my FAV, FAV, FAV! I'm never without it! :D I highly recommend Myth. Even though it is a bit dry, it's nothing a gloss can't fix!

Okay normally I do not buy L'Oreal even though I know it is Lancome's twin sister in disguise but I tried the new lash lengthing and I also got the serum to lengthen lashes...now do not want to be too premature but it is working! Honest to god I looked in the mirror yesterday and they are truly longer. It is CHEAP too you can get the serum and the mascara for under 25 total. I looked at some of the stuff in Sephora and I thought I would wait and see if this works. IT DOES!

I love EM but now I am on to Make Up Forever HD I do not know if I will like it but Sephora is going to get to know me as the lady who tries make up and brings it back if I don't like it LOL. YOu did however remind me to look at the brushes on EM. I had tried to buy them one day and for some reason the site was down and I did not go back. Thanks for enabling me to continue my habit. LOL!

Do you mean Bare Minerals?

I got a bare minerals eye shadow and hated it maybe I will try the EM. Do they make a huge mess? When I get ready in the morning and then wipe my sink there is powder everywhere. It was getting in the grout of the tile.

Sorry, yes, I meant to say I prefer it to bare minerals. And no, the eyeshadows don't make a mess at all. They are concentrated so you only use the tiniest bit and once the shadow is on the brush, it applies just like pressed shadow. If you want to try it, be sure to click on the link at the top of the page for the free samples - you only have to pay shipping.

Thanks for the info. I think I will do the samples I hve gotten everyday minerals before but not the shadow. I do not need this. I cannot control myself honest do god do they have a Make-up ANON?

Subject Change:
Also, I just saw a face mask with eggwhites and toilet paper. Put the egg whites on your face(I use the kind in the bottle because they are pasturized) then put TP on. Leave on 15 to 20 min and then carefully peel off. Takes off all the crud as well as the black heads. Wash after and use a moisturizer. Am in the process of using it now. Will let you all know if it works. I usually just do the eggwhites with no TP but this seems better.
