I didn't realize until my recent 4th of July trip how easy it is to go by the Main Street Bakery after Park Closing and get some "goodies" in Take-Out boxes to take back to my resort for a "Midnight Snack" or even for Breakfast the next Morning.:)

The Cast Members are so accommodating and it seems to be a "routine" thing to do for many Guests.

I can't believe that after 16 trips,I just now caught on to this great "tradition".:)

Yay, it only took me 3 trips! I feel "advanced", LOL.

The Vanilla Turtle Fudge is TDF, just saying.

Yep. Even better, stay and eat your late night dessert and coffee, then by the time you leave, the park is almost empty. You can usually catch the last kiss goodnight, too.

Either way - take it or stay, it's one of the best ways to leave the park after closing. I'd rather wait in line for a warm cinnamon roll rather than wait at a crowded bus stop any day!

Ok, explain this to me.

How do you go there if the bakery is closed?
Are the prices still the same? (or is there a 'day old' price on them)?
Can you use your meal plan credits?

I was actually trying to go there at about 6pm on my last trip (the halloween party was starting at 7) and I got to the door and eventhough it was still opened, I was kept out by the CM (it was during the training invasion of CM from Chinas for the China Disney park so maybe she was confused being new). The door was wide open but she just kept saying "no no no...closed" and wouldn't let us in eventhough people were sitting there eating.
So how on earth do you get the box of end of day stuff?????

Oh AWESOME! I think we will have to check into doing that while we are there! Just the idea of waiting for the Goodnight Kiss is so cool. That's WAY better than waiting for the busses haha

:rotfl:I was there too when the "training invasion of CM from China" as you put it were there. I was trying to buy candy at the candy store---same thing. Actually, I was in the store, asking where something was, and she was telling me there were closed and trying to get me to leave. She Really didn't have English skills yet. But she was trying to do her job of keeping people out, and trying to get the ones in there to leave.:rotfl: It was before a Halloween party too. Oct 29, I think. (Or was it my July-Aug trip?) How funny that happened to you too.
Anyway, no mark down, like 'day old bakery'. The lines are usually long, and you can only get what there is left sometimes. One night though, they brought out fresh cinnamon rolls in the park closing crowd (if I remember correctly), and they sold them all.
