Day 6...The castle awaits!
Was woken up by the banging...LOUD BANGING of luggage being taken off the ship. As a matter of fact, the unloading ramp was right near us. We had a 7:00 seating at Triton's for breakfast. The breakfast was the typical pancakes, eggs etc. By 7:40, we were done with breakfast and sadly saying good-by to "The Wonder". We took our last tearful look at the ship and disembarked! Getting off the ship was sooo simple! Soon, we were in our rented Durango and heading to WDW for our full day at the parks!
We arrived at Port Orleans Riverside at 8:45 to find that our room wasn't available, but we were in a great location (building15) and we were granted our request for late check out for the next day! We got our KTTWs and headed to MK. As we entered MK, We passed by the barber shop to see what the wait time would be, but the line was Longer than the port terminal line. Oh well, I guess DD(4)'s haircut would have to wait! At this point, she is turning into Rapunzel. Her hair touches her butt. Every year when we go to WDW, we say that she will finally get her 1st haircut at WDW, but the line turns out to be too long! At this point, I might as well wait till she starts driving

! The castle looks beautiful...all dressed with the gold. MK was really manageable, and by 6:00PM, we were done and heading to Epcot. Epcot was a different story!! I have never seen Epcot so crowded in my life. People seemed awefully rude too! One woman was drinking wine by one of the stands and tripped over my baby carriage because she wasn't paying attention(I was standing still) and gave me a look of daggers coming out of her eyes! "Well stop drinking lady...and maybe you can see where you are going:. Dh got into a fight with a man who cut the line in front of us while waiting to order food. To come to think about, a woman shoved and cut us when we were at the TTC switching monorails to get to Epcot! Epcot was opened to midnight, so we wanted to make a full night of it. Happily, we ended our day with a ride on Soarin! What a cool attraction!!!
Back to the POR to see our room. Yahoo...a corner room!
This is why I have named the thread the "Midas cruise"...everything we did, went our way!
Due to our late check out, we had the opportunity to swim in the quiet pool the whole morning and enjoy a leisurely breakfast! Flight home the next day was standard! All in all, we had a wonderful trip and it came at a time that we really needed a break from our daily "rat race" lives!!!
Thought of the day: We like to go to WDW after the cruise and not before! It makes the disembark less depressing!!!
Thanks for reading!!!
