So are we planning a pub crawl on this cruise we had such a blast and loved the shirts from the last one.

I know that Jerry is planning one in the ports, but if there isn't one planned onboard, I'm sure Chris & Jeremy would gladly take it on again!

oh and we're all sorted with the MIL sharing thingy.we were in an oceanview, not got two insides. more room, and more importantly, we all get our privacy back!

we are right down on deck one though, but hey, its better than nothing!

Well first of all my husband booked two rooms, one oceanview and one inside for 4 of us then he asked his mother to come along so he put her with my son inside room. We are right down on deck one too... I prefer deck 5 hopeful later we changed room or not. Ian said no stay there as only room and save money for flight one way home from San Juan

So I think better than nothing and I prefer to be on Magic anyway

finally caught up on all 99 pages that i've missed. so up to speed on everything now

joining in on the introductions for those who don't already know all of this from last time lol:

i'm karen (32 at the mo), cruising with DH gary (31), and for the first time, also cruising with MIL mima.
this will be our fourth cruise, all DCL, but have been to WDW 11 times, four times in the last 10 months. we got married in disney in 2005 at the wedding pavilion and never looked back lol.
we have done two 3 nights on the wonder, the 7 night repo in 2010 and the 2011 WBTA, so will be nice to see everyone again, as well as meeting new people!
i'm one of the managers at the disney store at lakeside in essex (get to see hazel and annie every so often, as well as dan and bruce from the last WBTA), and gary runs his own company fixing and supplying gym equipment.
We've got no kids, but one very spoilt german shepherd, my avatar is him 8 years ago.
At the mo we're booked on deck one, but hoping to make it out of steerage if more cabins open back up closer to sail date
will be joining in some of the activities closer to the time, I ran the secret mickey and the meet threads last time, so at the moment feeling a bit out of the loop not having anything to organise (choccy tasting doesnt really appeal to me as i dont drink any of the adult bevvies they serve with the chocolate)

Why not you ask the person who is doing secret mickey half/half?

Just a thought, is that make sense? no?

Alright we have a theme... Now it is time to get working on lanyards and name tags!

I look forward to that.. and I did it for Dover to Barcelona DCL cruise lanyards and had problem with print in UK, they need permission forDCL copycat!... but I had to contact my friend in USA. She gave me that names of firm, I ordered it from USA and she bring it over to London then posted it to me... After that it went smooth and I made up name tags etc...

It went well.. I don't think I will do it again butI am happy that you orgainser it..

I need a vacation and this cruise cannot come soon enough. I looked at other cruises in 2013 and didn't see anything that got my attention or fit my schedule. Luckily Aulani was available so I booked it for May.

We went to Aulani mid January and loved it. Enjoy the beautiful resort.

Am looking forward to getting involved with several events. I would love to be in on Secret Mickey. Looks like I am too late for Champagne, however if there is wine tasting, count 2 of us in on that! It's definitely worth adding yourself to the waitlist for the Champagne Girls, incase there are cancellations or a possible second group if enough ladies sign up.

Your airfare sounds really low for 4 people. It seems people were talking closer to $1000/pp to Barcelona. Returning from San Juan should be much cheaper, but probably still atleast $1000 total unless SWA has a great deal that works.

I wish I could have a budget of $500 for onboard spending for 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Probably you will find that if you are doing independant transfers that you will definitely need more than $100.

holy moly, been looking at flight prices - was hoping to stay in puerto rico til sunday or maybe the monday so we can explore, the flight prices for the saturday are very reasonable, but if we fly back sunday or monday the prices double
might have to just get off the ship first thing in the morning, spend half a day in PR then head to the airport
but on the flip side we can fly out to barcelona from southend airport, which is about 4 miles from my house, so nice and convenient on the way out

Just wanted to say hi! Welcome on board. We are former Green Bay residents and miss it terribly. We have been gone for a year and made it back 3 times this past year to visit.

The one thing I would up is your flight cost unless you are going to fly out of Milwaukee or Chicago! I know that going Det to Barcelona is probably the route you'll go, I'd expect it to be a bit higher than 800 a person.
