Okay here are a small presentation of us, will put pictures in later

I'm Christina and I'm 27 years
My boyfriends name is Kasper and he is 36
We are traveling alone, and leave our dog Walter (we find the name before the dog). He is a Danish/Swedish farmdog. He is 2 1/2 yo.
I have been to dlp almost 60 times and Kasper 4 times. We loves Disney, and we try to make it all Disney at home.
We have our 5 years anniversary the 6 September 2014
We can't wait

It's our anniversary on Sept 4th the day we arrive in Barcelona so will be waiting to celebrate once we arrive on board. The sail away party can be your celebration and we can all toast you!!

On our 2010 WBTA, someone developed an awesome website where we could upload our pics, put our names, ages, stateroom, dis names, which dinner seating we had ... I loved it! is anyone savvy enough to do something like that again? Made it so easy for a scatterbrain like me to keep everything straight!

This was Glenn and I - well, honestly - it was all Glenn... We talked about it briefly... Not sure if he was looking to do it this time or not as what we had done was in a form that not many places support these days... (Maybe he will see this and reply?)

I also loved what Glenn did for us, but I do understand if it's too much to take on. It really is a commitment and takes up time to develop a friendly, functional, and useful site as well as maintain it. So in all seriousness, Buckeye Goofy Glenn, no pressure.

I had a lot of fun building the website for the 2010 WBTA, I also really enjoyed having all the pictures and planning info in one place. While Sue did all her planning and organizing, I was able to express myself with loads of geek stuff.

I thought about it the other night, and decided that I would see if I could make a go of it again, provided I still had the means of doing it. The transatlanticpirates website has been offline for a year and a half now, so nothing there. I kept a backup on a baseball site I did for Stephen's baseball league, but that too has been decommissioned. I knew I didn't have a copy on my laptop, but thought I might on my old one. After much digging, Sue found the laptop, but the most recent version on it was from early February 2010, way before I did all the cool stuff.

I wish I had the foresight a year and a half ago that we may be taking another WBTA, and been more careful about keeping backups. Where's the smilie that bangs himself on the head?

With just a shell of a website to start with, I just don't think I have it in me to try to rebuild a new site. I'm really bummed about it, since I had such a good time doing it, but I don't see it in the cards.

Anyhoo, if you want a blast from the past, there's always the way-back machine......

Two things jumped out at me while catching up tonight:

1. I swear DH has a Hawaiian shirt just like that one (and I'm sadly not kidding, although he doesn't actually wear it ). You will all recognize him on the cruise....he'll be the one in the Jimmy Buffet t-shirt (yep, pretty much every day when the weather's warm).

2. Pins are a great idea!

Everyone is welcome!!!! And 60 times to DLP is definitely Disney love .

My mom had emergency knee surgery today to clean out an infection in her knee joint. I'm at the hospital keeping her company. She is still sleeping soundly from all of the lovely meds. She'll be here for several more days until the infection is under control.
I'm glad the surgery is over.

Hope it was a successful procedure and recovery is quick .

Think someone volunteered to make a logo but we need to finalize our name. I think Claire set tomorrow night as our deadline at which point she was going to put our top five choices in a poll on the DIS. So we are narrowing it down.

Since I am a total WBTA newbie - could someone please explain these pins a bit further? Are they "real" metal pins like the official Disney ones, or does some crafty person make them themselves?
