I think the excitement of the day caught up with me as I was out like a light last night. My excitement was ignited once again this morning though.


I can see that I'm going to have to allow some time each day to catch up with this thread a few pages at a time !!!!!

It won't be long before we need those weekly updates again, lol.


Welcome to all new cruisers and cruisers from previous WBTA's. We have yet to meet people from the 2010 WBTA , but I'm sure we'll all be like old friends by the time next September comes around.


I know it's super early but lots of people are excited to start signing up to things already so Hazel and I will set up an early Fish Extender list later today for the first bunch of sign ups

Thanks AnneMarie - I will add a note on the first page (tonight, I am supposed to be working at the moment ) that you and Hazel are heading up the Fish Extender list.


Michelle (Squitty) is also going to arrange the private DIS groups for Mojito tastings again.


I am sure we will also have sign ups for other drinks tastings - rum, martini, tequila, beer, wine etc, secret Mickey, candy exchange, DIS Palo group brunch, Palo dinners, Group dining, DIS lanyards, champagne girls meet, pub crawl. etc.....These are just some of the fun DIS things that were organised for the 2011 WBTA. Please feel free to suggest anything else.


If you would like to arrange an event please post on here, to make it fair I think it should be on a first come first served basis and that we should only have one person/couple/family arranging one event so that hopefully everyone that wants to take control and have a hand in arranging something can. Is this ok with everyone?

This is making me so excited!!! It's been so long since having all these great organized events for a big group. I've had several cruises since my 2010 WBTA. All have had FE groups and my last 7-day had a cabin crawl and a private mixology class (so awesome on the Fantasy!!!) but otherwise pretty tame

Hearing the call for more private tastings (Sue Kraft organized all of our tastings on the 2010 WBTA - including the VERY FIRST Mojito tasting ever for DCL), Secret Mickey's, candy exchange, etc. - it's going to be such a blast!!

For those newbies - I found that the more we participated - the more fun it all was!!!!!

So EXCITED!!!!

I have been wanting to do this cruise for years and now we are!!

We are Andrea (will have 45th birthday on cruise! Yay for me!) Andrew (DH- 44) Noah (DS 19) Rachel (DD 11) Sarah (DD 10) and Emma (DD 9)

We have two cabins but I don't want to say the numbers yet because we are waiting to see if we can get adjoining cabins.

We would like to be a part of the FE exchange and Secret Mickey. We haven't done secret Mickey so I need to go do some investigating. But we are all for activities so count us in!

Thanks to those who are coordinating all these things....we appreciate you.

Claire.....I was wide awake til 1:00 pm just thinking about things to do, what fun we had had on the last one, how I had 2 summers to buy new clothes, etc. My mind was just rambling from one thing to another! I finally had to get up and take 1/2 a sleeping pill just to shut my brain up so I could sleep! lol
