The MAGIC is Back!!! - 6th Sept 2014 WBTA - Come & join the fun! - PART 2

Just got caught up from page 3. Welcome to all the newcomers! :good vibes

We had a tea party today for DD. She had some of her little friends over and it was so cute. They all had on crowns and princess dresses. I put together a formal table and even let them have glass. Then they were singing all the frozen songs. They know them by heart and sing them at school a million times in one day. It started snowing at the beginning of the party and by the end we had 4 inches. I cannot wait for spring to get here, but then I'll be waiting for summer to be over so we can get on this cruise!

Snowed here all day. I'm hoping for a Snow Day tomorrow.

We are going thru the 5th warmest winter on record (and the wettest) http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-26367160
This week will be upto 11c here in the north of England. Only de-iced the car 3 or 4 times all winter. My face is burning with the sun coming thru the window as I type, unbelievable for the time of year.
Ironically I bought a snow shovel end of last year, first I have bought in my life.:rotfl2:

It is -2F here as I type. We are having one of the coldest winters. Yesterday set a record for the coldest high temperature. I'm ready for spring, altho I'll be wishing it away, too, like Namsupak.:goodvibes We leave six months from today!!:dance3::cheer2:

It's on 5 degrees here in Ohio and has been one of our coldest and snowiest winters in a long time. Even though I don't want to wish the days away, VERY ready for Spring here!

Anxiously waiting for the excursions to be posted for the cruise!!

Just booked our tickets from San Juan to Orlando for September 20th!
Happy with the price -- and glad to get another important part of the vacation confirmed.

2.35pm departure should give us plenty of time for a relaxed trip to the airport and getting to MCO by 5.35pm should give us the chance to catch Wishes and the MSEP at MK that night -- I am very happy and excited!

Was anyone else wanting for the Southwest fares to be loaded today? -- if so I hope you are smiling too! :goodvibes

:cool1: This time is much better than the Jet blue flight times and gets into MCO at a relatively decent time. We're contemplating a WDW add on BUT waiting to see what DCL 2015 itineraries and prices are like first as I may not be able to persuade DH to do both.

I'm right there with you. It was -11 this morning on my drive to work with more snow expected today. The colder it gets, the more I think about this cruise and vacation and excursions and sitting by the pool and meeting everyone else!

186 days and counting....

Thank you for the heads up on this!! I thought I would get an email from southwest letting me know when the new flights would be released, but I never did. Thanks to you I got online and booked my tickets today! I actually had almost enough points to get them for free so I just bought 1000 points for each of us. So even with paying the extra early boarding fee I managed to spend less than $50 per ticket. :cool

We are also on the 230 flight but we're going on to Raleigh. There is a chance my husband will meet us in San Juan and will spend a few days there, but the great thing about Southwest is that if I want to change my flight there's no additional fees.

Our wonderful group also booked our tickets this morning back to Hartford from San Juan. Great prices, and at a great time.

:thumbsup2 Great news GatorMom -- so glad to have been the one to give you the heads up on the flights. :goodvibes What a great price you ended up with after your points you must be delighted.

I know what you mean about those possible 2015 itineraries ShellB -- we have never even cruised before and I am interested in the possibility of Dover in 2015. We were already committed to WDW though and we will not have been there for three years by the time September comes around -- so it will be lovely after the cruise. Good luck with your choice between DCL 2015 and WDW 2014! :)

Hi everyone haven't been on in forever started a new job and it is keeping me busy. So ready for winter to be over I'm done with snow and ice. Anxiously awaiting the release of excursions so we can do some more planning. Those of you who have done this cruise before are the 5 days were crossing cold at night? Starting a packing list and am unsure if we need light weight jackets.

We've been on multiple WBTAs, and find the weather unpredictable. My advice: dress in layers, and bring a lightweight windbreaker with a hood.

I'm curious; do you think we'll go past Gilbraltar during the day so we can see it or will we go by during the night after Malaga? I was hoping to see the Strait. We leave Malaga relatively early in the evening. I guess I don't have a good grasp of how the distances translate to when we pass places between ports.
