Popping in to say ......Maelstrom !!!!

I've been busy today, laundry, cleaning, vacuuming,, washing floors, making a shopping list, cooking, ugh...... Can anyone say Cinderella?

Haley ...The adapter for the Ipod thingy so it can go in your car....is that terribly expensive? I just recently cancelled my XM radio and would love to be able to hear my Ipod in my car. Did you ever get that Laundry done?

Polymelonmom Hope you feel better, here's a pot of chicken soup for ya :stir:

GA... Those must be awesome caramels... your family starts requesting them before you even make them. Yummy, I used to eat caramels all the time as a kid, my Grandpa used to buy a whole bag full and we'd just sit and eat them all....

chapter 11....
Just saying Hi! :wave2:

Mommypoppins....Sorry to hear the baby is sick. Did you burn yesterday? Streeeeeeeetchmarks? Yeah, I got them. Gross, creepydee! How can you avoid them after 4 babes? I just am not bikini material!

Lou...
You are just soooo helpful...

Grammy....I'll try and keep up with the mug thingy...Have a good time down the shaw (shore, for Non-jersyites)

sheridac.... Hi ! :wave2:

pongo Did you ever get the stuff settled with your original reception hall, I might have missed that story.

tink38...I have some pics of our house while it was being built, if you'd like to see them let me know...I'll have to figure out how to share them. I have them uploaded at photobucket.

On a side note, what's with the Flippin Tag fairy...... She only tags you IF you say something witty and funny.....Who made the Tag Fairy the authority on all that is witty and funny? I bet the Tag Fairy doesn't have any melons !!

No, we don't have our stuff settled at the old place yet.
He is meeting them tomorrow
Thank you all for asking about it :)
Ya'll ROCK!

Yeah, I am here. Today was a good day. Feel like I actually accomplished something at work, albeit slowly. Got a load of dishes done and, in a sec, I will go make leftover sandwiches, bathe the kids, put 'em to bed, and then come back to DIS and Lodge on the internet some more.

Hey chick, I just got your email tonight and sent that off to ya!

The iPod adapter is by Belkin (or close to that) and we got it at Target. It was on sale for either $17.99 or $27.99 which was a pretty good sale according to Mr. Silly who snagged one. :confused3 The FM transmitter is about $10 more and I do not like it as much because as you drive around you can get interference on it. If you had a really good stereo it might have better sound quality, but the cassette style sounds good to me. The other advantage of the cassette style is it will work with any iPod or anything else with a standard headphone jack.

Laundry is still going! Time for dinner, see everyone latter (unless the storm brewing knocks out our power)

well, if you do, then it would be uneven. It wouldn't do at all to have uneven melons.

I agree. Leave the melon(s) alone. :rotfl2:

Love the font!

Just poppin in to say howdy. Another busy day in the life of a United Methodist Minister. Drove the bus for our senior adults today then came home to go sit with a family whose mom is actively dying. Probably will be going back over there sometime during the night. I'm not expecting her to make it. But, don't be sad - for her it will be a blessing!

Hope all is well everywhere.

And I too have been surprised at the lack of movement in the page as of late. Whats up with that, huh?

Blessings!

aaah. That splains it. How's the travel plans going?

Well this weekend's trip is pretty well planed out, except we are heading home early to try to make a huge party a friend is having. Not sure how that is going to work yet... but she is the Jell-O shot making queen...

I booked the WDW trip in Oct, but am waiting for Southwest to put out the late Sept/Oct fares. I have a feeling we will drive I still have not talked anyone into going with us and housing the extra kid. Mr. Silly thinks he would rather share a room with three kids than WDW with my parents (he may have a point there) :rotfl:

We also are going to Europe in 13 months (did I mention that yet?) and I am trying to decide if we want to take it slow and see a few cities or whirl through and see a lot. We tend to whirl, and then feel sad we didn't go slower. But I also worry we will regret cutting out Prague, which we would have to if we dawdle in Rome and Athens... choices.

Last of all I have been trying to book a flight home from Rochester for the oldest. His last final is May 10th. All the flights from Rochester are outrageous. I found a $59 flight out of Buffalo, but we can't figure out how to get him from Rochester to Buffalo...

I feel like a travel agent. I wish that job paid well...

Hey, I am beating Lou to the punch here. If you have an image in photobucket just copy the bottom link info they give you (3rd one down) and paste it in here. Simple as that. Let's see the house :Pinkbounc

The Tag Fairy has an odd sense of humor sometimes. She/he will find you someday when you least expect it.

Hey. I have been to the UK several times. Bridget has been to Spain and the Riviera, la ti da. How'd I manage to decide to stay home that trip? Oh yes, I remember. It was the $985 price tag on the airfare alone. I do want to visit Rome, Venice, Milan, Paris.

Rochester to Buffalo is not too bad. Does he drive? He could do a one-way rental.

Hey Sheri... funny story for ya. I have lived here for about 6 years. It wasn't till November that I drove to Carousel by myself for the first time. And a couple months before that I drove to the Genessee Grand by myself, that was my first time EVER driving up there. I didn't even make it to Great Northern by myself for years. ANd yet I could drive in Atlanta and the metro area just fine..... go figure.
