OK, I so have to go and make dinner and make my kiddos do their homework now. Plus all this posting is keeping me from writing my next installment of the trip report.


And I think I was going to get something done today. I can't recall what.

I've changed my mind. I had planned to post and respond to trip reports here and Maelstrom over there. I vented my spleen and felt better but it quickly became apparent that the grass was not greener. Like Lala, I find the coffee is just a little too hot for me. I reckon this opens me up to charges of being a prude or whathaveyou. So be it. I'm just more comfortable in a G-rated world. I do like Disney World after all. Plus, I don't want to be embarassed when my wife or daughter looks at my computer screen if you know what I mean. As much as I enjoy reading what's going on with the likes of many of my cyber friends, I feel more comfortable here. I hope in time some of them will come back home.

Well, I guess if you're a prude, I'm one too. And apparently, a complete dork for liking Maelstrom.

I'm pretty well done over there. I enjoyed the respite but it's a world I'm not completely comfortable in. This isn't a criticism or a judgment on the fine people who post there. We each have different levels of conviction. Like I've said, I didn't find Mel's discussion of the headboard at all offensive or even off color (or colour if you prefer). I still don't understand why that got deleted. I reckon my line is just beyond that. I'm a pretty meat and potatoes, white bread kind of guy (to wit: my love of the POR food court).

So Not A Princess: I'm done with my trip report. I may post again in a week or so to respond to some people who have posted there, but the report is done.

Horsegirl: don't post anything for me over there. I live here.

LaLa: I can't believe I'm writing this, but I am seriously jacked up that y'all are going to Disney World in a couple of weeks. Your family seems a lot like mine and I know I'll enjoy reading up on your adventure.

As for the Zzubs: we're talking (just talking) about planning a late summer trip to the World. We need (now more than ever) a week of uninterupted family time. Wishes! and all that.
