No, we're not being audited. DH had to steal my computer to fix the mess I made in Quicken. So we can get our taxes done. Because it's lame to have to file an extension when you're getting a REfund.

We could get NicoleMarie to come too. (This last is addressed at Rhonda as well, obviously, but she knows that!)

ZZUB - you already know that I am a deep admirer of your work. I'm going to stop telling you every time. How about we just UNDERSTAND that I laugh or cry (as is appropriate) each time you post? I'm getting a little frustrated by the fact that I can't PM you. I have some questions about your work. Just professional curiosity is all. I want to know how much technology you use in the courtroom when you try a case. Really. Can you e-mail me? my screen name at yahoo. Easy enough.

So glad to see all the silliness abounding again. Our ship has apparently arrived at some calmer waters, thank goodness. My dramamine was running out, and, well, I was going to have to call on ZZUB to give me his keyboard supplier's name.

Lou - Thanks for the mints on the riddle today. I was stumped. I guess the coffee finally kicked in. (I don't know why I say this, I drink decaf. I'm sure the SUGAR and CREAM in the coffee finally kicked in. I SUGAR and CREAM my coffee ya know.)

Who'd I miss? (I know, a lot of you!) Hope everyone enjoys their last days/weeks of school, if you're not out already, and that it is a beautiful sunshiny day for everyone. It's going to be HOT here today. But not as hot as where my Mom is. Why does anyone voluntarily live someplace that is 100+ for months on end? Crazy. I need to find her a beach house so that she can move. And so that I can have a beach house to visit.

Oh and POLYMOM, about dessert at Le Cell:

Here is a pic of the dessert sampler my husband and I shared on our trip. It had the happiest celebration chocolate whiskey cake, the Maple Creme Brulee and a Raspberry Sorbet in a sugar cup. Neither hubby or I like the Creme Brulee, just too sickeningly sweet. The chocolate cake was good, but VERY rich. The sorbet was actually the best single choice to end the meal. It was cold and smooth and just the right touch of sweet and tart. I actually kept alternating between the chocolate cake and sorbet as they complemented each other well.

I have also read that a lot of people like the kid's chocolate "moose" (mousse). And I'm getting one for my kids next time, just so I can take a picture.

(BTW, we both had the filet w/ mushroom risotto. SO RICH. All I can say is OMG! This is the only restaurant that my husband insisted that we eat at again this year.)
