I was laughing hysterically at all the recent posts. The dogs....OMGosh. I swear, while you were posting gross pictures of dogs we found a true real life nasty gross, puke in your fanny pack, burned up dog skull. At least that's what we think it was. DH mentioned seeing a skull in the yard, so I went and found it and kicked it up on the deck(My real calling was obviously soccer) it had canines and it looked like the skull of a little dog, probably lost in the fire. Richard was handling it and talking about how horrible it smelled, yet he couldn't seem to put it down. Sad, but kinda funny, considering you were posting dog pics while we were examining the skull.

Okay, well, that's it I think. I forgot what else I was gonna post.

Glad everyone in my house is napping and I had time to catch up on the 10 or so pages y’all posted since last I was here (which was only last night for crying out loud!)

Some thoughts, observations and responses:

Sheridac: I’m away from here 15 minutes and you have new heroes? Not five minutes ago I was lighting up your life. Now, I'm saddest ever.

Haley: You realize, I hope, that I was quoting someone. I don’t know who originally used the phrase, but I assure you that you would loathe the person who I borrowed it from. Even hunting veeps with bad aim can turn a thoughtful phrase. Maybe he's not so evil after all. (that's really a set up for HG)

Lou: How many ways can you find to freak us out and make me want to sleep under the bed? Dude, not a challenge, just a question. Your ability to produce freaky Michael Jackson pictures (redundant, I know) in a flash is frightening.

LaLa: I’m not borg. I don’t even know what borg is. Does borg mean freaked out by pictures of Michael Jackson and easily nauseated? If so, then yes, I’m borg.

Chapter 11: Good call on the pack of sheep. I’m from Alabama. We know all about sheep. Piglet’s post offended me as a southerner.

Pigletpower: "WHO CARES what a name on message board thinks?" Evidently, you do. Or else you wouldn’t be posting this here. We'd surely welcome you in, too, if you didn't come in the door kicking a boot in our collective faces. Just some food for thought.

Look, I’m not big on conspiracy theories, although the black helicopters circling my house tend to make me curious. But today, leaving church, I observed across the street a Sons of Norway Festival. They even had a Viking ship and everything. I pointed it out to my wife who, no lie, said, “Is that a Fastpass?” We’ve joked about Mel stalking me, but now, I’m thinking, I don’t know. Did she really set up a Viking ship across from my church?

I would have posted earlier today but I was too busy being "creatively stiffled ". I think.

I had to come back here to hang out after seeing all those pictures of your... errrr... pets. Well, it was either come back and join the flock of Borg (or is that a herd or gaggle?) or call Animal Rescue on all of you.

Geez.

And... I also would have posted earlier but I went through four keyboards, two desk drawers, an Oktoberfest Boot and my neighbours' hot tub viewing all your photos. You are all sick and twisted. So, clearly, I am home. Here.

I'm also pleased to see that MY MOTHER is Maelstroming along with us all, now. This should be FUN.
