today at work I had a 10 year old tell me she had a lawyer...she had been told that she was being suspended for bullying..."I have a lawyer and you can't prove ANYTHING..." Ummm yeah, it's called a bus cam sweetie. pulling a younger girls hair, stomping on her feet, slapping her in the face...all b/c this girl was chosen over the bully's friend to go on a trip to DC.

When did kids become so dang MEAN?!

is it wrong that I was ever so slightly pleased to see that smug look turn to tears when I turned on the video of her bullying a younger girl? When I did I get so dang mean?!

Hey Perdigirl...did I hear COACH?! I got a new coach bag this weekend...a "wedding" present from Jason!! he'd had three glasses of wine when we were out and just felt so very giving!!! Gotta love that man of mine!!! I had gotten the Holiday Patchwork Duffle for Christmas, and I LOVE IT, but it was too winter-y...I needed a spring colored purse...and then of course I'll need a summer colored purse...and so it goes!

Hi everyone! I've missed you guys. How have y'all been? What did I miss?

I've been busy with the last few weeks of school and I'm so ready for a break! I think the kids are, too. A bit of bad news though, our IT guy took away my DIS privledges! Poof! One day it was gone! No more DISing on work time. I'm going crazy during my planning period now. I'm actually having to plan.

Anyway, I've been working on my very, very late TR installment. As if anyone cares though because I'm sure Mel is back from her trip and is well on her way to regalling us with her tales. I'm excited to read it though, like everyone else.

Vettechick....that is horrible!!! Surely we could link your 'dissing' to some QCC so that it would be necessary for your research.
When my school first got e-mail...my good teacher friend and I were totally talking about our principal and planning to skip school together for a necessary shopping trip - then we found out she could read all our emails if she so desired. It was a good thing I moved 3 weeks later!!! AAAHHH!!

Tink, basically that means that they have run the wires in your neighborhood but have not actually connected them together (the black wires need to be connected, not sticking out), and they probably have to run a line from the green box to your house. That would explain the 10-14 days after the cables are terminated (depends on how quickly they could get a crew out to run the cable to your house).

Tink, cable termination basically can mean two things. One is that a connector is properly attached to the end of a cable. The other is that each end of the cable is attached to a transmitter or receiver. So until all of the cables between the cable company's transmitter and your house are connected (i.e., "terminated") you can't receive a signal. I am not an engineer so this is pretty much a laymans explanation (my neighbor works for the phone company which is why I new what they meant by "termination").
