alright i have a Pooh adventure for y'all!!!

Picture this:

DH and i freshly married for 1 day, we decide hey let's relax at the pool since it's already late in the day and we don't feel like going to the parks today...ooo and they have a pool bar!! (we are at CSR).

GREAT idea, i get my suit on (definately NOT a white sz 4 string bikini) and off we go! we have our towels and our drinks (mmm daquiris) and we are getting lounge chairs by the pool!!! we relax and guzzle (err. i mean sip) and THEN we decide let's hop in!! as we walk over to the line for the slide a little boy (about 5) gets out of the pool and smiles at us then yells to his mom:

MOMMY I JUST MADE A POOPIE IN THE POOL!!!!!!



AUGHH!!! Sal and i Turn on our heels and OFF we go to the quiet pool right outside our room

needless to say we DID NOT swin in there the rest of our stay

Paslea dahlin...I love you because you saved Pooh Bear from the Trash!!! Why on EARTH would anyone throw pooh out?! Haven't these people heard of karma?! If throwing pooh bear out isn't bad karma I don't know what is!

I have a Pooh story too...

When I was in college I was going through a massive Pooh bear stage...I had scads of them...filled my room from top to bottom, lined the walls...y'all get the picture...I got one that wiggled and moved when you pushed his nose and he said things...y'know Pooh things...oh bother and the sort...well, I had a friend from high school come and stay with me one weekend while she was checking out schools in the area...we'd been at St. Katherine's together...she was actually considering joining the Sisters of St. Katherines as a teaching nun!! She'd always been a Prissy Pearline so it figured...nice girl though...Anyhow...we were settling down to sleep and she was snuggled up with one of my pooh bears...she was hugging him with his face pressed against her chest and I guess she pressed his nose b/c he suddenly started wiggling and said "mmm..honey..." Well I thought this was HYSTERICAL and was laughing so hard my sides hurt..she did NOT think it was funny in the least and said she was disappointed that I would own something that PERVERSE. I think she felt that she'd been harrassed by Pooh!! But it didn't end there, b/c that year was the year of "Tickle Me Elmo" which she'd actually said she also found perverse and inappropriate for children... I had a Pooh Bear who basically did the same stuff...vibrated and laughed in a Pooh bear way...which she rolled over on after being harrassed by the first Pooh, the second one started vibrating and giggling I am NOT making this up. She was really "disappointed" in me and when she left early the next day she said she'd continue to pray for me!!!

Paslea, I am so happy for Pooh and his new home. You and hooP have huge hearts, and, apparently, plenty of alcohol for humans and bears. Do you have honey in the spice shop?

He is practically new and he smells good!! They are finishing their basement and throwing everything out.

That story is hysterical. You had a vibrating, talking and laughing Pooh. Clearly, the molester was your friend. Why was she holding Pooh so close to her bossom. That is completely inappropriate behavior !!! Sounds like the one in need of prayer is your Friend !!! Help me out here Mark, what do you think ????

Ok, so I'm looking at this catalog and contemplating ordering one of those robot vacs. The have a $150 version and and $280 version. Not going for the $280 vesion for sure, but does anyone have any experience with those things?

I have the $280 version. hooP got it for me about 16 months ago. He bought the extended warranty thing on it. The warranty ran out on Feb 20th. Don't you know, that on Feb 21st, the thing wouldn't turn on!!!! I kid you NOT!!!! Up until that point it was working fine. I used it mostly for upstairs. It still works but it doesn't charge 100% so it runs out quicker than before. I have to look into getting a new battery for it. Other than that I love it. I will purchase the new battery b/c it'll keep me from hauling the other vac up the stairs!!!


Haley...My Mom would be so mortified to know that I was garbage picking. I couldn't leave him out there. I'll sleep better tonight knowing he's safe.

This is a company owned PC, they have have it locked down tighter than I would care to describe on this board. I can live without some smilies until the day it dies, then I will buy my own (WHERE I HAVE ADMINISTRATOR PRIVILEDGES) In the meantime, i will post pretend gushing weeps, but thanks, JW. I'm afraid if I try to download another browser I will be totally locked out.
