Rhonda!!

look girl no one has more throw up prego stories than me...I had hyperemisis...google it. All I am going to say is SUPPOSITORIES for 9 mos!! THERE!!! We can swap stories later...I had to have IV's at home and a home nurse I was sooooo sick w first dd...PLUS gained a WHOPPING 80 pounds!! YEAH!!! ME at 180 was ick...gross....

THEN I got toxemia...and had a c section...and now my tummy is ruined. GROSS...REALLY GROSS...even after abs of steel. I am getting a tummy tuck this summer. Dh wants one more child. I don't even know how #2 got here...geesh

let me tell you though the 2nd was TOTALLY better!! I was prepared and took unisom and vitamin b and it helped. I can feel the prego throw up stories....but can you handle my "mom please insert this capsule for me cuz I can't reach" story????

yeah

at 3 maybe but I was 20.

nice huh???

ponder that for a moment Rhonda...then tell me you had it rough.

Come on!! WIMP you can do it again!!! I dare ya!!!

maybe you'll get some melons after a second!!!

(honestly i don't blame you a bit!! It was a nightmare. I needed therapy afterwards....)

HYPEREMESIS GRAVIDARIUM!! I WAS THERE, GIRL!!! Tried the pill thing~can't remember the name~to keep you from throwing up. Doesn't help much if you throw it up. So then we did the suppository thing (same medicine). That didn't help either. I also did the IV thing. They had to use a baby needle to get in my veins! That's when they put me on Zofran. We called it the miracle drug. It worked for 4 hours. If I took at 4 hours, 1 minute, I was sick...

I'm so glad I didn't have to do the C-section thing. I gained 32 lbs, and believe it or not, I don't even have stretch marks!!! Yes, I know how lucky I am...

Oh please. When you carry and birth 2 at once, then we can talk.

I need a new laptop after having to read about suppositories and toxemia. geesh. mel and sher do you have split personalities? What are you doing over here?

Initially, they thought I was having twins! (They run in my family...and the dr said typically no one was that sick unless they were carrying multiples...) They did a really early ultrasound, to check. My cousin, who HAD twins, had no problems at all with that pregnancy. She said she thought it was all in people's heads, the being sick, etc. Then she had #3. Said she was sick every day of the pregnancy! So I guess you just never know. My mom was extremely sick with me (but she only carried me 7 months), and sick (though not quite as bad) with my sister. Both of her sisters who have children also were very sick. So maybe it's somewhat hereditary?

I'm hurt! Amongst all the talk about the er..umm..frogginess, y'all totally missed my story about being sweet to Rhonda on Valentine's Day. Y'all were supposed to oooo and ahhhh and tell Rhonda how lucky she is. But oh well. Maybe I'll just go to my meeting at the church instead.

Enjoy the frogginess!

Blessings!

Oooooh, aahhhh... Rhonda's so lucky, blah, blah, blah

Rhonda & Mark - As long as we aren't feeling the love, let me say this.

I quoted the bible about 40 pages ago. Nobody noticed, not even a true Waltons fan. Just to remind you all ..... "Jesus Wept". And for you younguns out there, I think the Waltons were on in the late 70's or early 80's.

I am leaving my light on but I do have company, so I gotta go. They think I am looking up succotash(?). Which is the succ and which is the tash. Only my family needs this info.

In Viking societies, many people had nicknames heiti, viðrnefni or uppnefi which were used in addition to, or instead of their family names. In some circumstances the giving of a nickname had a special status in Viking society in that it created a relationship between the name maker and the recipient of the nickname, to the extent that the creation of a nickname also often entailed a formal ceremony and an exchange of gifts.

Back in to remind Grammy I mentioned the Waltons in my trip report. So she is my sister. Top that.

Horsey and I have no stretch marks because we adopted our babies. sSo she is my sister, too. Let me edit before I edit: I have stretch marks; they have absolutely nothing to do with giving birth.

I'm struggling to keep up. Zubb tired me out.

Oh Melly Mel Mel... Wesley, my friend and I arrive on Thursday the 4th. Depart on Sunday the 7th. For some reason I was thinking that was earlier than you were gonna be there...

Okay, finally caught up -
PasleaPooh - love the new avatar - isn't this the second one in, like, a week?
Rhonda - you're lucky, yada yada yada
Mark - you're even luckier
All you other sickos - I'm done with my bodily function stories, and CERTAINLY can't top those preggo stories - I would sympathize, but it's in the past and we're all laughing about it now, right? Well, until we throw up the next time . . . (and Rhonda - I took Zofran, too - but only had to about once or twice a day - still remember trying to get that prescription filled the first time - Pharmacist explaining that they don't keep THAT medicine in stock in THAT quantity - didn't I realize that it was a $500 prescription? Hmm, actually, no, I didn't, because I have awesome insurance . . .)

And MY feelings don't get hurt that I never make any lists of Maelstromers - I know I am only an auxilliary member. Sigh. I'm gonna send everyone some of my Kitty Kat Karamels - then I'll be remembered. Except everyone is on a diet, so that would backfire, I guess . . . Back to anonymity.

And mark and rhonda, ya'll never say anything to me either, and i've given both of you a thousand sweet sweets. so i give up, you darling people.

What list? Where? and am I on it? lol. No I doubt I am, I am invisable girl.

But you ARE on one list, girl, cause you are on the Maelstromers meet list. Me too. :smooth:

Gotta share, LMAO here - my son just walked in with a glow stick stuck in the front of his diaper. Yup, he put it there himself - exhibitionist.
