Wow, we have one who is Entering college and we are looking at poverty level. Not really, but it's gonna be rough for a long while... We are paying for her tuition.. I'm praying that when she leaves college she'll only have about 10K in student loans...but we'll see. It's hard, but you know that already.

Wow, we have one who is Entering college and we are looking at poverty level. Not really, but it's gonna be rough for a long while... We are paying for her tuition.. I'm praying that when she leaves college she'll only have about 10K in student loans...but we'll see. It's hard, but you know that already.

What do you have for state aid in PA? We have TAP, and they get PELL which covers alot of it. Having 3 in at once really makes a difference in a good way actually.

I don't think so. You should get to claim in on you tax return next year. I think it's a Federal thing and not state.

We'll try. They said something about income limits , so I assumed we didn't qualify..DH makes pretty decent money. I'll try though. He's the ONLY one working right now....so even though he makes decent money...we always seem to be struggling...4 kids and all. There is never enough money. Abby our youngest is going into Kindergarten..so I'll be going back to work soon after 18 years. Oi!!!

Well, I didn't think we'd get anything either, but we did. This is the first return in about 20 years we haven't had to pay.

We have a PHEAA something or another.. we filled out the flippin FAFSA... we do have the PELL but didn't qualify for it.... The only "aid" they offered us was the Stafford...which you Have to pay back.. I'd rather just pay NOW...without interest. Eventually dd will have to incur some debt, DD 14 will be a Freshman in college when our oldest is a Senior. So having 4 girls..our priority is to pay for school....weddings...they'll have to deal with on their own....we have a nice yard for backyard weddings!!!
