DVC Coffee Snob Thread (non snobs welcome too)

I have also had multiple machines, but the latest is the "Pop" version, which I don't really like. I think it was meant to be their budget model. I am thinking about getting a new one of their older-style, better quality machines. When that happens, I'm going to buy a ton of new pods.
Since it seems we have the same taste in coffee, any other recommendations are welcome! I need to do another order soon! I did like their flavored versions, I often brew one of the flavored along with a regular pod. I need more than 7.5 ounces of coffee!
Im often too cheap to buy Nespresso Brand so I buy off brands often. Peets has the best ones imo. The Starbucks branded Nespresso ones are not good.

I've had mine since the pandemic. I had a hand me down first version with the bullet looking pods, but it started to die out. I bought the new one to put in my office at work, then after about 2 weeks, we all went home! After about a year (I did go into the office one or two times each week), I brought it back to m y house. It sat for awhile and when I tried to use it again, there was some sort of clog or something. So I used good old YouTube and found a solution, it had to do with the water not being drawn into the pump because it sat for a while - even though it was basically new. Since then it's worked great! It uses the larger pods, but not the newer really big ones. I'm happy with it and will replace it when it decides it's had enough of me!

One of the frequent flyers over at TUG owns and personally works a coffee farm on the Big Island, but I never tried it.
I met him on the Big Island in October and tried his coffee. Very smooth and sweet, I can actually drink it black. We bought a bag of beans and have been enjoying it as a treat on Sunday mornings.

But having been reared in New Orleans, I’m more accustomed to cafe au lait, coffee and chicory to be specific. We bring our own Community Coffee New Orleans blend when we travel, as well as a little drip pot if our accommodations won’t have one.

my BIL has a tool to re-fill pods, so custom grinds Philz for the Nespresso Virtuoso for the week. Seems like more work to me than just doing a pour over, but who am I to say. I like that I can get quick espresso in the morning. If I WFH I'll make a french press to go with it.

Sure. They play old school midwestern football. In fact, they'll be in my neck of the woods during Big Game Week.

I suppose that's not as bad as having a stadium from which one can see the Pacific ocean as the home venue for a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. All oceans connect, I guess.

(I am very grumpy about the demise of the Pac 12, though probably not as grumpy as the Beavs and Wazzu.)
I grew up a UW fan, went to Cal for undergrad and we have a bunch of Beavers in the family. It's been a sad time all around.

"All Coasts Conference" is my preferred nomenlature
