The Maelstrom thread moves pretty fast.
If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am trying to study for a test here. TRYING would be used very loosely here, since I haven't accomplished much today. I keep checking on you guys...cause you make me laugh. But it is VERY detrimental to studying to be 'listening' to you weirdos!

Plus, my stupid dog is trying to figure out how to get under his bandage. It is driving me nuts. He doesn't have one of those nifty lampshade collars, cuz the last one he had got all roughed up around the edges, and he almost took out one of my kids eyes. Plus, he was able to contort himslef around the damn thing and reach his bandage ANYWAY. That's right, I have a contortionist dog.

Anyone know anything about protein catabolism? Anyone?

K...well since you will all be having fun tonite chattin about Melons and Beavers and Thongs (oh my!), I will be learning about the digestive system. Actually, this thread fits in pretty well, since we are talking about vomiting and poo.

I think someone should not only recap every few pages, but also the chat...what do you think??? anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Krebs cycle... what class is it for? I used to dabble in Microbiology. 19 years ago. I think they changed the Krebs cycle since then. Really. Not even kidding about that. And I am not even as old as Chappie.

Hit the books.

I was also a TA in Human Growth and Development. But I much prefer Micro.




Now I am really going to start dinner. Because I am makeing Indian food and it takes awhile.

Homemade manicotti, Indian food...man, I feel like a slacker this week! We've had leftovers (Monday), Mexican (last night) and Chinese (tonight). Both of the eating outs were Mark's idea. Dang. I'd better get back in the kitchen!

Luckily, I don't need details regarding the Krebs cycle...I just have to answer some questions for the "take home" portion of the test. The take home part is on metabolism. you'd think the take home part would be easy, but we actually have to THINK.

I guess I should really study now. REALLY.
