Love the pirate party, Jay. My son's 8th bday was on a trip to Universal. We planned it to be pirate like, but in the end, he wanted spiderman. Made my trip to the Pirate's Dinner Show seem like a weird choice, but he liked it! Anyway, I didn't do any of that stuff we had planned, instead dh and I drove all over the place looking for a bakery.........ended up in the spanish-speaking part of town and found a Pasteleria there. Got him that and put spiders all over it for the hotel room, had a spiderman pull string pinata and silly string. He was happy.
Ainslee will have a great time no matter what she chooses, bounce houses never lose their appeal!
Since we're on parties, this year my younger DS had his at Disney World. His fave park is Animal Kingdom, so we went there, had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe and a Volcano for dessert, and they put candles on it for him. We went back to the room and I had brought cupcakes for him with little choc. jungle animals on them.........oh, I have a pic........I'll post them in a minute. He had his presents (lots of animal themed ones) and wanted to stay and play in the room with them and Grandma. So, we had dinner ressies at Le Cellier, so took older son with us. He was thrilled. We toured a few countries afterwards. Nice day for both boys.........older ds was very good about the younger having so much attention the whole trip, so it was nice for him to have some time alone with both of us. Everyone enjoyed it!
I don't know how to make them smaller. Maybe you all can teach me?
Paige those desserts look so good!!!! My mouth is watering.
If you are using Photobucket, click on "EDIT" above the pic. It will bring you to a screen that will let you resize the pic 75%, 50% or 25%. If it goes to small, delete the image from Photobucket and bring it back in. Sometimes it does not resize and you have to F5 to refresh the image. Sometimes the image does not let itself be resized.
