I also took off into the woods, down to the creek.........in the dark. With my walkman, a flashlight and a book. I wasn't allowed to read at home, it wasn't productive.............but for some reason I was allowed to go outside as long as I wanted when it was dark. So I did.

I loved to read ...I still do. Thankfully my parents didn't mind me reading , it kept me quiet and out of their hair. YOu were a brave one Paige....no way I would have done that, heck I still wouldn't

Surgery went OK. It's a new infection, so they cleaned it all out and replaced some of the plastic parts with titanium. We will have to wait 5 days for the culture to come back to find out what's causing this. If she continues to have an infection, they'll go in a take out the whole new hip....make her lay in a nursing home/rehab center for 6 weeks and try all over again. I talked to her this a.m. and she said this HAS to work...she can't keep going through this. Keep your fingers crossed.

My dilemma right now is what to wear to the airport! It will be in the high 30's when we leave and the 80's when we get to MCO.

I love pictures. As for the clothes..layers I would guess.
