Ok guys....I am trying to decide what to do our first day in WDW. I figure we won't get to the hotel until about 2:00. Should we hang at the resort, check out DTD, or what??? I want to wait until the next morning to hit the Magic Kingdom since it will probably be packed the day we arrive.

We head straight for Mk even if for a little while..long enough to see the Castle, then take off to Epcot...

..........And, Steph came on and came over feeling snarky. We were arguing with the TF about why or why not they could be Tag Fairies.............it just kept on going. Then we were threatened with removal of our tags and I caved. Steph didn't. She kept on until the TF posted a pic of a big eye and a tear.............Steph made the TF cry!!!!

Then she tagged our siggies..............in purple...........

When was this? Can someone clue me in? Or PM me?

I got 6 day tickets without hoppers, so I don't have a park ticket to burn that day. I am also not using a park ticket that day we do MVMCP. I decided to save the $$ since the parks won't be open late when we're there, and I don't know how well DS would do with hopping. Maybe next year...

What resort are you staying at Trish? We don't do the parks on arrival because we don't want to use a day on our passes...............we don't do length of stay.

We always eat at Chef Mickey's on arrival night, and then ride the monorail around to see the castle all lit up. We ride it back to the Contemporary, go out on the observation deck there on the same floor as Chef Mickey's and watch the fireworks. It's a nice night.

For the afternoon, I'd be getting my hotel room fixed, buying my mugs, going to the pool..............

We like to chill on the first day. Check in ( which they let us do at 7am last trip) and hang around the resort. Make a trip over to DTD. I LOVE DTD. I love shopping so that could be why. We like a easy first day and last day thats just what works for us.

No, she answered us in our posts...............Mine, Steph's and Darcy's..........but she went back and erased. That's how we got the purple tags in our siggies..........she put those there.
