HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! I can't wait to put my daughter in her cow costume. HEHE!!! ...... I always miss being a kid on Halloween. The memories of going trick or treating with my friends. OH I MISS iT!!!

No trick or treaters at our house...so we're watching the Omen series

My DH had to leave unexpectedly to go to Chicago today for work. We will not be back until friday.

I got a call my grandfather is in ICU with a brain bleed and 6 inch gash in the back of his head from falling. He lives with my parents.

My cousin turned 21 yesterday and he and his brother went out last night to get drunk ad celebrate, not exactally my idea fo fun. The 21 year old was supposed to leave today for active duty...Anyway they drove drunk and totalled the car. The 21 year old is in ICU with numerous internal injuries and 68 staples in his head- you can hardly even tell he has a face. The older cousin got out of the car to help his borther and was hit by a truck on the road. He has a gaping hold in his head that the doctors cannot close. They have them at aeperate hospitals because the trauma was so severe.

Oh dear Lord! That's awful! Just one of them would be terrible but together it's unbelievable... and you DH isn't even able to be there for you!

They are on my dad's side of the family. The family history is really crappy on that side. Everyting you could possible imagnie happening has happened to those poor kids...

Their dad is dead from un-natural causes, their mom if you could call her that is somewhere in Tennesse with her drug buddies. Like I said these guys went through hell as kids and teens.

It is really sad for all of us. We only had contact with this part of our family when someone died or at Christmas time. The kids ( well we are all adults now) are trying to re-establish the family connection and now this...

My BIL passed away right at Thanksgiving last year......Crises around the holidays are always so much harder to deal with. My prayers are with you and your family.
