The Mad Chatters thread Part 6

All right, RB, I'll sit up for your story, and then I have to lie back down. Left to take dh to hospital at 5:30........got to daycare at 6, but they don't open until 6:30, so we made the unwise move of opting to take Little Son with us rather than wait.

By the time dh was moved to recovery it was 10:30. I sang every song, told every story and played every kids' game there is in that time. They let us leave at ll:35, and we were home by 12:30.

I got a call from my dr.'s office. I have ketones in my fluids and they want me to eat more carbs.

Then I got a call from the hospital asking tons of questions about how dh was doing. I finally questioned the questions and they admitted they misread his chart and let him leave recovery too soon.

I have eaten 2 cups of rice today and I am stuffed. Dh is doing good. I started having some vision changes, so I need to lie down, which makes my posts short and goofy.

Is everything okay?

My life has been crazy this week. One of my best friends husbands had open heart surgery on Tuesday. So I've been at the hospital and babysitting her kids and stuff like that. He's doing great... well as great as can be right now. It's the 7th time someone in their immediate family has had open heart. One son had 5 a daughter once and now dad. Really tough.
