I'm 31. Sorry, I'm cleaning my 6 fish tanks. Running back & forth.

Six fish tanks? I knew you were a freak, but that's alarming!

Good. We left at 5:45 and got home about 7 hours later. He's been sleeping mostly since then.

My dr.'s office called with my lab work...........said I have ketones...........I need more carbs. SOOOO funny, being ordered to eat..........

Then the hospital called to "check" on dh and asked some alarming questions...........I questioned the questions and the nurse admitted she'd read his papers wrong and sent him home too early from recovery..........

WOW..what a day...what exactly is KETONES?

And what was up with the hospital????

Well....when you go on the Atkins (lo carb) diet, they WANT you to be in a state of ketosis (where your body is burning fat). There are little test sticks you pee on to detect the keytones in your urine. If there are keytones in your urine, you are in ketosis.

That's all I know....

I can't control myself! I have a 55 gallon one in the living room (instead of a tv), a 30 gallon one here in the study with me, a 5 gallon one in the foyer, a 10 gallon one in my bathroom, and two 2.5 gallons in the kitchen.

Makes sense why I got so sick when I tried Atkins.............apparently my body doesn't react well to burning fat................

Actually, Shelly, I thought you originally said SIX FISH..period...but wow, 6 tanks...

I had one when my DS' were little as a learning tank for them to learn about fish and sealife...

They all died within a month and then we went on to the subject of death and dying...it was not good at all....
