We just passed page 1776...............childhood snapshot: I am 7 years old and I am to march in the bicentennial parade. I am a confirmed tomboy, and I get to be................drumroll..................a drummer boy!!!! I wore knickers, a puffy white shirt, white stockings, buckled shoes and a tricornered hat and got to carry a drum and rat a tat tat...........all the way down the street.

One of my happiest days................
