Got dizzy at work, couldn't see the page I was teaching from, couldn't focus my eyes, almost passed out. School nurse said my bp was 142/90.

I had to cancel because my (not nice word here) boss basically threatened my job if I go right now, and also mainly because my Mom is sick and we don't know when she's going to get better - I hate leaving town when she's sick b/c my Dad travels a lot for his job and my sibs, god love them, don't feel the same sense of resposibility that I do to her...Oh well - I still get to go in December, so I just need to shut up about it!

Just because you get to go again soon, doesn't mean it's not ok to be disappointed about having to cancel your trip..... I hope you have an extra special time in Dec.
