Jay, yes, defintiely please do host the Christmas exchange. (But make sure someone good gets me! )

I think an exchange will be such fun!! Do those dates sound okay? That way it would give everyone time to think about if they want in. To opt in, shop, mail it and we would know even with the busy time of year that they would make it by about mid December. Hmmm...I just thought of something, I want a secret pal too! So maybe I could do half of them and somebody else could assign the other half so I can get one too! YES, I am the spoiled little child in need of a secret pal too!

It's raining today. We had planned on going to Cox Farms (pick your own pumpkin, hayrides, farm animals, lots of fun stuff for kids, etc) with some friends but we have to reschedule because of the rain. So no plans right now.

Jay, those dates sound great. Or it doesn't even have to be a secret if you don't want. The person in charge assigns each person someone to shop for and we just mail it to that person. Or it can be a secret. Whatever everyone wants!!

Virginia...for Howl O Scream.

We've been there a lot this year...it's the first time we've gotten season tickets. It's not Disney, but it's nice to be able to go pretty much whenever.

Hey.....I live in VA too! We're practically neighbors. But I live up north. And I'm new to the area so I do not know my way around here.

Yes, we are kinda neighbors! I live in the Tidewater area...I've driven (slowly) through NoVA a couple of times!

You might try going to Hersheypark around Christmas time...they have a wonderful Christmas Candy Lane thing...it's really beautiful.

Hopefully we can....we're pretty poor these days.

Yes, we just celebrated our first anniversary last month...no kids for us. I'm 40 and we probably won't have any. I'm not sure I want kids at this age, but I'm also not ready to say "absolutely not" yet

I'm so sorry about the financial stuff...it's so hard sometimes...DH and I have had our struggles too. But we were lucky, we sold his house about 2 years ago and were able to pretty much pay off all our debt (except the house we live in). It was a nice feeling, but we were only able to do it because of luck, not any planning. Now, I'm just trying to be disciplined and put money into our savings accounts.

funny you should ask...we are going bowling later tonight!

and I have to clean a little 'cause my parents surprised us and showed up last night. They're coming over tomorrow (I'm so excited!!!)
