I think Caitlin's is some bad allergies, and I think Ainslee was just faking it all along.

So you got paid to DIS today, huh? NICE! :teeth:

Yeah isn't that wonderful. I get to sit on my couch and DIS and get paid to do it. I love it. We only get this a few times a year as subs so I take it when I can. Its a teacher work day, but someone always tries to take off and not work, so I try to sub for them. I still get paid for the whole day, but I don't attend any of the conferences or meetings. I get to go home.

I'm freezing and feeling icky. I'm gonna go take a hot bath and maybe eat something. BBL! :wave2:

Oh no - what's wrong with them? :grouphug:
Well the youngest had RSV as a baby, and since then has always gotten infections in repiratory area every year. But when she was 2 she had mono, then in Kindergarden she began having gran mal seizures, which now she has outgrown. Also in Kindergarden she cut her finger off in a door during a fire drill. But it thank god was reattached and she has full use of it. But she and other DD always have strep and ear infections. They just always have enough illnesses to not fake any.

Hello my dear friends! Still quiet at work. Have a 3 appt. I was pumping milk while I got a relay call from someone in Africa interested in our cremation jewelry. It's the SAME person who I got a call from at another location several months ago. I emailed them our prices and of COURSE they want the most expensive piece. Star of David (14K Gold)at $1500. They give us a credit card #. I tell my manager and we both agree it's most likely a scam. So we sent a polite email saying we can not sell merchandise without people looking at it first. Anyway, I emailed this person again today and asked for their mailing address so I could send them a pamphlet. I'm going to check my email now and see what they say. Be back soon....

Ok I'm back. I checked my email and this person asked me to find out the price for express 3 to 5 day shipping to Nigeria and wanted the cross pendant. Oh brother!!

Ok, call me stupid or whatever you want, but what in the world is cremation jewelry. I just have never heard of it.

How's it going everyone? Here's an update on Amber: Everything went very well. This morning she was crying because she didn't know what to expect. That was most frightening to her. Well, when we arrived, she wanted me to come into the room with her while they gave her the laughing gas, but they wouldn't allow it. So, she said that they gave her laughing gas, and tried to hook one IV in her right arm, but she said the dentist kept telling her to stop moving and crying, so they had to put it in the left arm, and they finally got it in. After that, she said, it was a blur. Well, afterwards, we stopped at Starbucks and I got a coffee and she got a blueberry muffin and an ice water. While in line, she opened her door and started gagging (sorry if that was TMI.) But, she was fine. We got her home and she slept until now, with only a few times when I woke her up for her to drink and take a pain pill. She just woke up, and is watching TV. Thanks for all of the good wishes, Mad Chatters! We love you guys!

That reminded me of the time my DH drank some very old milk in the fridge. When he came to me later complaining of a stomache I asked howcould he drink it and not know it was bad. He said it tasted kinda funny but not too bad. :sad2: But if you had ever eaten his mothers cooking you would know he had to have an iron stomache to survive his childhood.

Anyway I have seen this thread a million times and decided to stop by and see what it is all about. :) The above post caught my eye. Anyway hope you guys and gals don't mind me dropping in.

Hi Willis...it's always good to meet new chatters! Please do drop by again. And THANK YOU for giving me the inspiration to say it MUST be my mother-in-law's cooking **NOT MINE** that made his palate the way it is :)

Once again, nice to meet you and welcome!

I don't like milk. That's about it. Plus I don't feel good. What about you, Al?

I don't like milk either...and I have no "gross out" reason not to...it's just ick to me. But don't worry about my bones, cheese is a weakness for me;).

Hi Nichole, welcome!!!

Anyone else here?

Getting paid to DIS...that is an awesome thing! How was your half day?

If you are stupid, call me stupid too...I have never heard of anything that even begins to describe cremation jewelry.
