The Mad Chatters thread Part 4

I'm in Nevada so I haven't had lunch yet. I'm at work. I'll probably make my self a PBJ again. We have this dinky little refrigerator. I have a loaf of bread in it so the last few days I've been eating sandwiches for lunch. I don't like to leave bread out because it rots if it's out long enough. Two weeks or so ago I bought two loafs of bread from Safeway. One wheat, one white. I didn't look at the expiration date on them. I kept them out at work. One day I go to make myself a sandwich with the wheat and I noticed it had mold on it. So I switched to white and noticed it had mold on it to. I was ticked, but oh well. :teeth:

Squiddy!! You are the bestest squid a girl could have!

Just picture 7 tenticles wrapped around you giving you a big hug! The eighth one is patting you on your back to help you with your cough! :rotfl:

Hello all! How YOU doin'? What did everyone have for lunch? Lunch here...*drum roll please* leftovers from last night. I really need to go grocery shopping. This P.D.D. (post Disney depression) really has me behind on things here.

Bonnie I hope you are feeling much better today. Did you end up making dinner or doing take out last night?

Hello Jay! You edited your post!! You are soooo cool!

I just had some soup last night. I felt to crappy to cook, and too crappy to go "bowling". Plus it rained, so plans for dinner on the deck had to be scrapped. So it was a mutual decision that our anniversary was a bust. But I didn't really care. I fell asleep early while watching Grey's Anatomy!

I really wanna go to MNSSHP and see them in real life!!

MNSSHP was tons of fun. Seeing the characters dressed up was a whole lot of fun. We went as a family of pirates. The characters made a big deal out of us being dressed up too! :)

:rotfl: You make me laugh, Squiddy! But I think you should be smearing Vicks Vapo rub on my chest with one of those other 7 tentacles. ;)

True but disgusting story...dh ate half a sandwhich on moldy bread a few months ago...he didn't notice it until it was half gone. How is that for NOT good??!!

ISH...I shudder thinking of it for him. **sidenote, he never got sick or anything...so I feel free to make fun of him for it whenever I remember and can find a way to work it into the conversation "Would you like a sandwhich honey? WAIT...I can't find the bread you like...you know, the moldy kind".

IT'S GONE!!!! I'm now past that number thank goodness. It's funny, but it made me think of the time where I was looking into booking a vacation to DL through Disney.com and for one hotel the price came to $666.06. I started a thread about it.

Oh, I see...you are talking about your post count! I know, I'm scared of that number too. When this thread was on page 666, we hurried and posted a bunch of nonsense posts to make sure we got off that page in a hurry.

What did you think of the cruise?

We loved...LOVED...L-O-V-E-D the cruise. It was so amazing to be back on the Magic again. It had been way too long since our last cruise (2000). We loved snorkeling in Grand Cayman (awesome reef) and swimming with/feeding the sting rays at Castaway Cay. We loved spending the day on the beach in Mexico and holding sea turtles at the sea turlte farm in Grand Cayman. We just had a great time. And on the ship itself...oh my goodness. I spent a ton of money on pictures (way too much) and even got one of those images in crystal things (which I dearly love and had wanted to get at WDW but skipped again even after I promised myself I wouldn't...but amazing things do happen and it was a better deal on the cruise then at the parks). The shows were even better then I remembered. We loved the new Cinderella one, Twice Charmed. It was funny.

Our server (Teddy) was beyond helpful. When we got back to WDW after our cruise I was wondering why nobody set my napkin in my lap for me anymore! I miss having towel animals in our room every night after dinner and I wish I could have stayed another month on the Magic.

AHHHH...nobody ever said P.D.D. wasn't a serious illness. ;)

:sad2: Sorry you aren't feeling better. I hope you're getting a lot of rest. I'm lucky I don't get sick that often. One a year or less I'll get the stomach flu for two days. It's miserable for me. I'm doing good today. Just sitting on my butt at work with nothing to do. I like it that way! :goodvibes

What kind of work do you do? And by the way, hello and nice to meet you. I am Jay. Frazzled yet proud mom of three boys. Ages 10, 7 and 5. Also one proud yet pondering (how did he not taste the mold??!!) wife of a non Disney lover (yes, I knew that before I married him, I just thought I could convert him, turns out I was wrong, but I am lucky enough that he loves the boys and I enough to play along anyway). :thumbsup2

That is one of those things that make you go hmmmm....then again, what does that say my cooking might taste like? That is even more fun to ponder! Seriously though, how DOES a person do that? I don't know...we would have to ask my dh! SICK and WRONG!! Poor man. Little does he know it's not only me that laughs at him but I tell all of my cyber friends too (actually he does know, I brought it up at church the next weekend, told his sister on the phone and shared it with family friends at a bbq).

To be fair, I also make fun of myself and will share this story, I once took a tsp. of cough syrup that had a little bug in it. Somehow (and I don't even want to think of how this happened) my rx cough syrup got left out in the car and bugs invaded it. ISH. Little tiny maggot like ishy things. I was tired and it was late and I didn't look closely at the medicine until I was rinsing out the measuring tube...and ISH, a little maggot thing attached to the side. And more of them were doing the backstroke in the cough syrup. I instantly "lost" my cough syrup. GROSS!! I think I actually hold the title to "grossest thing consumed" in this marriage. ;) :guilty:

I'm so glad you had a wonderful time, Jay! I know, you get sooo spoiled on the Magic!
