We prefer POR over POFQ. We really loved the grounds. We're thinking of trying CBR next, but I think we'll miss all the plants.

I think location and convience are the best parts of deluxes.

We liked POFQ better, but then we LOVE New Orleans, and haven't been in a while. We also liked everything so close. POR was so BIG.

We thought about CBR, but heard the bus service is slooooowww...........

We liked being spread out from people at POR. It was a nice break from big crowds.

Yeah, but I think I've heard that about the buses for every resort...

Hey Paige!

How are you? Any news on your mother?

No, I was advised by my counselor not to call. I was told if she wants to talk, she'll call me, and by me calling her I am making her realize how disconnected she is from the world and giving her a sounding board for how bad it all is..................I thought that was good, but counselor says no..... She says it makes me too anxious and powerless and then I am unable to do what I need to do (I've been having some panic attacks). So, I've tried it with just a few days at a time. So far, when I have called she's been cheerful, so maybe the counselor was right............I was calling daily before.

It's hard to know what to do..................

Well, anyway, dh says he doesn't want to do a Swan/Dolphin and Deluxe combo. He wants to go from Hard Rock to POFQ , so that's what we'll do!

So I'm thinking about 10 nights next August, maybe 3 at Universal and the rest at WDW...

I'm here - I just didn't want to pry

Sorry, Al, forgot you're new. Mom and my DS were in a bad car wreck. DS had bruising, stiff neck and a burn on his neck, but Mom ended up with a badly broken ankle on her left leg, a broken hip on her right, and an operation for each (pin in ankle and hip replacement). She's having to use a wheelchair for just a bit of each day and in bed the rest, lots of physical therapy, can't go in the bathroom at all, so has to use a potty chair and sponge baths and she's been depressed. I've been trying to help her, but I keep doing the wrong things, seems like.....................

Haven't been there to stay, but it SOUNDS cool. They have cabanas you can reserve by the pool, and they have fans, loungers and refridges stocked with drinks................they have dive-in movies out there, and sometimes entertainers...............

Which reminds me, if anyone hears of anyone going to San Antonio soon, will you hook me up with them? Nick had to have his Hard Rock San Antonio shirt cut off in the hospital, and he misses it. I'd like to get him another for Christmas, but we aren't going before then................
