Okay, I'm working now..........really..............here's a kid who was reading a story about a boy with a pet dragon. The assignment was to choose an unusual pet and write about it. He writes:

I would have a platapoos. They eat fish. I would put it in a big tank. Its looks like a duck. It can swim fast. It is a good swimmer. It can get big.

He's only 7.........a platypus. He's one of my brightest, but I can see I need to work on longer sentences...........

Why do mom's get no privacy?

I was in the bathroom, but I hadn't turned the light on because it is light enough outside. (I didn't lock the door) DD walked in, says "oh, sorry" walks out, shuts the door and immediately walks back in saying "good morning!" I don't think I have been in the bathroom by myself in about 13 years.

I know what you mean! I was trying to get my 6th grader to let me change in the afternoons by myself................no sense of modesty in him yet, I guess, as he follows me talking as I strip down to my undies...........I honestly don't even think he notices what I'm doing!

Then the little one, if I go in and lock the door, he pounds on it, and then eventually starts poking his fingers under the door, "Mom! Are you in there? Yet me in!"

At least my oldest has modesty, so I only have to deal with the youngest. And the dogs. If I don't push the door completely shut, they will burst in and try to hop in my lap.
