I second that TGIF! Man has it been a long week! any weekend plans?

My DH is taking two of my kids to a Collage Football game on Saturday while I take the teenager dress shopping. My DD has her first High School Dance in a few weeks. Shopping for a dress should be quite interesting.

that sounds like fun. first high school dance huh? A night to remember! Does she have someone to go with or is it not that sort of thing? I remember my first high school dance. I wore a gold mesh dress that went to my knees. beautiful dress but no date and no music worth dancing to. But it was still a good time. Seems forever ago now

Yes she does have a date. Things are so different than my HS days. We always got flowers. Corsages and botunaers (<<<I know I killed the spelling on that one). You know what I mean ...flowers boys wear. Anyway, they will be no flowers.

no flowers? Too bad! What happened to that tradition I wonder? I only got a flower for prom though. No other dances. The others aren;t as formal anymore I suppose

Mindy I see you just got back from DW. I'll have to read your trip report. Did you have a great vacation? Give me the condenses version.

We go in 49 days. Believe me I'm counting down.

i went the beginning of September. I am trying to finish my tr but have not had any motivation this week. I went with my mom and we had 7 fabulous days in the world. Half at the Swan and half at the AKL. Both resorts are fabulous. I went to all the parks and had a grand time. My birthday was on September 5 and we went to Ohana for that. Highly recommend it. It was a blast! i wish I was back there. Its such a happy place

49 days to go huh? I'llbet you're climbing th walls in anticipation! Where are you staying? Where are you eating? Any cool plans?

We are staying at the ASM Family Suites. After going back and forth on Deluxe with one bathroom or value with two we choose two. I so hope they are nice. My kids aren't so thrilled. They are hotel snobs. I just couldn't swing two deluxe rooms. Anyway I did buy the dining plan so I'm hoping for some good meals. Our Thanksgiving Meal will be at LeCeiller so I'm really looking forward to that. Have you eaten there?

I just ate there on my last trip and it was fabulous! the steak was so tender and the pretzel bread wonderful. You will love it

Oh, Le Cellier is just one of our FAVORITE restaurants!!! I am hungry for it right now. The cheese soup and the pretzel bread are fantastic. I like the barbecue glazed filet mignon.........it's really not barbecuey, but it's moist and tender. Get the chocolate moose for dessert..........

Dr. doesn't know what's wrong. He had xrays done, they looked normal. He said it STILL could be stress fracture, but only a bone scan would pick it up. He also said there's a ligament running right along where I said it hurts. He said it could be caught in there and spraining and respraining whenever I walk on it. How do they "uncatch" a ligament? I didn't think to ask that there, of course. He gave me some anti-inflammatories and a referral to a podiatrist. Who knows when I'll have time to go................

Dh called and his sonogram looked fine. He's seeing the dr. in 6 minutes.........and then will know the bloodwork results. Then we can relax for another few months.................

hey Paige. sorry the doctor was no help at all. they always seem so eagar to send you off to a specialist don't they. As if we have nothing better to do or something. hopefully the anti inflams will take some of the pain away until you're able to sit through another doctors speil. fun fun

Slightly premature, he's still seeing the dr. and hearing blood test results...........but the sonogram is good!
