Brent and I went to Carrabbas today, and of course I threw it all up. And after I did, I had room for dessert. For the first time we got a Carrabba's dessert and we got the chocolate dream. Man, was that ever delish!

But I guess we never talk about our DH's names. What's everyone's DH's name? Mine is Brent.

I know, I need to. There is some blood coming up when I throw up. Not a lot, but you can definitely tell it's blood. Wish we had insurance. But if it doesn't improve I'm gonna have to find a clinic or someplace that will let me in and let me just pay cash. Most doctors won't see you without insurance, and since we are new to the area and don't have a doctor yet anyway, it's not like I already have an in.

Bonnie! Don't wait! That needs to be taken care of now..............you know about ulcers already, you can't wait now.............just go. Worry about the money later, you know I know what I'm talking about there!

They have to take any amount you pay them...........even if it's 10 bucks a month. Take your time, it'll get paid eventually, but don't let it go..........please.

Do you have any walk in clinics near you? I have not taken the time to search for a dr for myself but when I need a dr, I go to the walk in clinic. Here they take ins and/or cash and I have been satisfied with the level of care I have gotten.

Yeah what Paige said. Remember my BIL who had an appendix rupture and was in the hopsital 3 1/2 weeks? No ins., his total bill for everything was $70,000. A foundation was found that basically took care of the entire bill for them. Dont let money stop you, your health is more important.

But, sugar, with blood you cannot wait. Even a little bit.............sorry, but you really do need to go. I'd take you myself if I were an eensy bit closer to you................

You just pay what you can on it until it's paid for, we've done it so many times with dh's bills..........if you're worried about the prescription costs tell that to the dr., he may be able to give you enough samples.

Ask for generic esp since Walmart and Target have $4 meds now. There is hope. Both of dh meds are now $4 each.

Yes, dh was just telling me that.......we ALWAYS get generic if it's available so that will be great...........

Okay, you both have given me hope. I'll find a clinic. I didn't realize they had to take you, even with no insurance. Question: are the quick care places clinics? Or does it need to say clinic in the title?

Brent doesn't seem to care all that much, TTYTT. I throw up so much it doesn't even phase him now. I'm sure if I told him I was going to the doctor he would be fine with it though, even if we are poor right now.

Quick care is fine, it's more of a step down from an emergency room..........Medcare is a common one here.

Otherwise, clinics have clinic in their name.............if they can't treat you they will be able to tell you who can.............

They have different names here like Physicians walk in clinic, Doctors clinic. and etc.

Good to know! We've never not had insurance before. That's the one blessing about me not turning out to be PG. I was pretty worried about that.
