Oh gosh I hope not!!!!paigevz said:Me too, and I figure it'll only get worse as they age..............
I don't do haunted houses anymore. I also have a history of running people over, holding up the line, clutching anyone near me even if they are the boyfriend of a friend (I dont care, they are someone to hold onto), screaming loud enough to shatter eardrums, and just generally ruining the fun of others.
I have also done ALL of the above................dolphinrescuegirl said:Paige-I am so glad to hear your mom is fine and everything will be ok![]()
I CANT STAND haunted houses. I end up crying in them. Once I went in one at Six Flags with my dad and brother. I was about 15. After clutching my dad's hand hard enough to make him lose circulation and dragging my heels begging him not to go in the next room (we were in the middle of the house) I ended up running out the emergency doors screaming.I don't do haunted houses anymore. Now I can look back and laugh since I know I will never be forced to go in one again. About the 6 flags one....my brother informed me afterwards thhat a group of guys my age were laughing their butts off. Go figure.paigevz said:I have also done ALL of the above................
Yes, mostly. The kids are so good this year, if we could ONLY be quiet in the hall........I haven't got them there yet. And they are all doing quite well academically. The ones with challenges are doing far better than their history would suggest, and those without are sailing.............mom2taylorandemily said:How about you, other than what I already know? Did you have a good day at school?
No kidding. I have had several jobs where confidentiality is imperative. I have never been questioned about it. I would never discuss another child even with DH and mention a name. My kids go to that school, I wouldn't want them to say anything or have them think anything about a child that they don't need to think. I was almost insulted by it.paigevz said:Well, for that matter, everything about all the kids really is confidential. Teachers don't just go around telling the neighborhood about Johnny-who-threw-the-chair-at-me or Jenny-who-is-failing-math.............geez.![]()
That's why I can't really ever vent about work...........even on here..........it's just not done.mom2taylorandemily said:No kidding. I have had several jobs where confidentiality is imperative. And your grades are due Monday. I guess you wont' be getting any sleep this weekend will you. Maybe it won't take to long to get all the grades in.paigevz said:Yes, mostly. One problem. All grades have to be in Monday, and for some unknown reason our district changed our computer-based gradebook this year, and the new one is UNACCOUNTABLY slow. It's an average wait of 3 minutes per assignment wait to save.............12-20 assignments per subject, 7 subjects.....see the problem?
I'm going to go in and get them in the gradebook tomorrow, then start seeing how the computer goes. If it doesn't go well, I'll have to go in again on Sunday.mom2taylorandemily said:And your grades are due Monday. I guess you wont' be getting any sleep this weekend will you.
